Took away 3 stars.....I drive 7 miles to go get food here. Last time a junkie was passed out in the lottery room. Then the main guy who works there is just grumpy and not very friendly. I miss the other guy, pretty sure he quit. I'm not driving out of my way for this location any more. I will just go to the west Linn location. I'm not a happy customer. Which sucks since I've been going there for YEARS..
Called to order a cheesesteak hoagie & the guy who answered was short fused and had an awful attitude. I asked what came on the cheese steak hoagie & expressed that last time I ordered, it was different, and was curious what THAT cheese steak was. He rushed me off the phone saying “can you call back later or order online, we’re busy” … I asked why he was hanging up on me and he didn’t have an answer. Don’t answer the phone if you can’t take phone orders. Better yet - don’t work in customer service then.
This place is amazing! The original Philly and the Philly with mushroom are amazing and their meatball sub was delicious! Highly recommend!!!
I’ve been here a few times and REALLY want to love it, but it always come in just ok. I usually get cheesesteak since everyone raves- and it’s pretty good. I do love their bread. Now The Italian- the way they assemble it- all meat on top- you can’t even take a bite without all the meat wanting to squeeze out of the bread. It comes with: provolone, Genoa, capicola, ham, two slices tomato, shred iceberg, oregano, pickles, peppers and oil and vinegar. I had to reassemble it just to eat it- and that’s always a no go when you reach for a sandwich- it should be consistent in each bite and not have everything fall out imo.The pickles are crinkle cut the kind from a big jug- wish they had a better pickle for this as it’s more of a hamburger chip from a company picnic. All in all this is my favorite I have had here- I just wish it was assembled better.Everyone is always courteous that works here - but service is always a bit slow- as in takes a bit to get your sandwich. When it’s always been only 0-1-2 other customers when I am there- so not sure why. Beer could be colder too. Sandwiches are a little pricey to not include a side AT LEAST chips- and that’s the only sides they have. They have baked brownies usually too not sure how much. 14.75 I think my Italian was, and it’s bus your own table kinda place.
Fantastic! We tried 3 different sandwiches and they were all stellar. Great bread with good chew and still soft. Steaks are done properly with thin ribeye, and stacked high. The staff was hard working and friendly too. We will most certainly come back again. Among the best in town.
Wow! Delicious Phillys and sandwiches. Great chewy roll, good size for the price and plenty of flavor. Piping hot off the grill and busy, attentive staff. Brewery/sandwich shop with a wide variety; I will be back for sure!!!
Tried this for the first time. Very hopeful based on the other reviews, but the food was exceptionally disappointing. Ordered 4 different sandwiches. The Meatball was passable but the rest were just not good. Flavorless. 3/4 of each of our subs went into the compost. How bad does is have to taste for your teens not to eat it? Gave them two stars for order the order being correct and the portion size.Makes me desperately miss Shut Up & Eat.
Pepper cheesesteak is absolutely delicious!!! Might get extra cheese next time though
I lived and worked in Philly for a few years and I gotta say these cheesesteaks are legit.Order ahead online if you can. They're usually way busier than they look. Great takeout option, really. They've got some great beers on tap. I'm a big fan of the Brown Porter and Jefferson IPA.
Best sammich I've had in a long time. Get you some!!Friendly staff, too!
