I have been going to Peters for years and have never seen such horrible service as I have tonight. It’s very unfortunate because their kitchen is amazing and they have great food. I highly suggest management fire their servers because they are the only bad experience in this place. They refused to wait on my friends and I because “we didn’t order enough” in the three hours that we were there. I didn’t realize Peters doesn’t serve sober people but I find it very appalling. I thought Portland was more progressive than that.
Went here not expecting the food to be as good as it was. Taco salad for the win! Delicious dressing, all the right toppings. Fresh produce. Friendly and prompt service. The staff here were great! I mean great! Attended to every need before we even had the chance to ask. I wish I could remember names, I'd give them a shout out, for sure. Thanks for a great food experience.
I have ordered to-go from here a few times and it was fine. One order was missing something but no big deal. After a couple months of not ordering from here I decided I wanted a burger. I ordered 1 cheeseburger add an egg, wings and a star about burger with no onions and add bacon with truffle fries. When I got home I seen I had NO BACON and regular shoestring fries with no salt, truffle, etc but yet I was charged for these things AND each item I ordered I was charged an additional $0.50 on each item because it was to-go. I called them to let them know part of my order was wrong the woman I spoke to was RUDE. When she put the phone down to figure out what happened I heard her say “yea we are never doing this for them again” who is “us” are you referring to me being black!? She then comes back to the phone with an attitude and says “well we are closed so you can come back tomorrow and we will refund you for the bacon and truffle fries but we will no longer be able to do special orders for you because it’s to complicated for the kitchen” what’s complicated about 1 burger add an egg and the other burger no onions? You can’t make me eat something I don’t like!!! I will NEVER eat at this place again. I guarantee you if I was a white woman it wouldn’t be a problem that I modified my burgers and I wouldn’t have someone talking to me with an attitude. When I called I wasn’t upset, didn’t yell or anything. I just simply stated that I was charged for things I didn’t get and was instantly met with attitude. If your kitchen staff can’t modify food to someone’s liking then they shouldn’t be a cook!! And whoever the woman is who answered needs to learn what good customer service is or be FIRED!!!
Just ordered a beer and a burger to go... The bartender asked me how I would like it cooked and I said, "medium rare." I had a funny feeling when I walked in... I paid cash, tipped 24%, got home and realized they short changed me a few dollars and hammered the burger to beyond well done... Not sure if this is SOP, but I won't be coming back. Other POC should consider the same.
Neighborhood joint a few blocks away from my house. Quality, quantity, consistency, price point, staff, and owner are all great.
Food was good. Atmosphere is nice. But I just witnessed a patron come inside, ask to order food Togo and they turned him away because he didn't have a vaccination card. That really out a bad taste in my mouth. the guy just wanted to eat. I won't be coming back here.

Yummy food, I got fish and chips with a cup of clam chowder. Menu offers great burger and sandwich selections at fair prices. Must have proof of vaccines to sit in doors but there’s a couple tables outdoors. Video lottery here!
