First time visit. The service was first-rate. Server continually checked on us. The Kitchen manager also made a visit to make sure all was good. The food also excellent.
We gave our name and cell phone number at the hostess table and asked if it was ok to wait at the bar. We were told it was ok. We were told it would be 15 minutes. We were promptly ignored by the bartender who served all others around us. After 25 minutes, we checked on our table and the hostess acted as if we were rude to check. The waitress promptly came and ask fir our drink order and left before we had all placed our orders. In each encounter, our servers were downright rude. Will not be back.
Hubby & I went here after flying to the west coast. Our hotel shuttle driver took us. It was great for food, ambience, and service. We had 1 glass red wine, 1 half rack ribs meal, a tri-tip meal, and a huge cheesecake. Total before tip was $69.50.
Overall great experience. The food was definitely delicious. Must recommend the deviled eggs appetizers. Not sure why there is an odd number of half eggs..kinda trips my mind..2.5 eggs on the plater..who got the other half egg?..lol. but gosh damn they were tasty. I ordered the fried chicken plate. Didn't disappoint. I typically am not a fan of my food(especially fried chicken) smothered in gravy. But it seemed to work. The breading was on point and cooked perfectly. Large selection of taps. Lots of options.. I went with the Oakshire amber. Pleasantly surprised. If your an amber fan..the Oakshire sits between drop top and mack'n'jacks. Smooth, a bit creamy..clean finish. Complimented the chicken plate well.Sat at the bar to meet an old army buddy. Drinks obviously came quickly.. but otherwise I felt a bit..unattended to(for lack of better words).. especially for sitting at the bar. Hostess had a great smile from behind her mask.. and I noticed a lot of spray and wipe down between guest. So they are definitely covid safe. Other than the guy working behind the bar seeming to either not like us..or had better things to do. I would say the house staff was top notch. Food was prepared by someone that knows thier way around a kitchen. I could go on and on about little details..but bottom line. Go. Check them out..and enjoy your meal. Just go ready to eat a decent portion of well prepared and presented food. For what we got, and the flavor, worth the price. Go.
Delicious food served in ridiculously large portions at reasonable prices! Great atmosphere with plenty of adult beverage options sure to satisfy a variety of palettes! Conveniently located too! Definitely recommend their salads!
Great food but the waitress was horrible she consistently ignored us but was able to help both sets of customers on each side of us.
Loved the not a Reuben, Reuben. No sauerkraut on it but instead a coleslaw. Upgrade the fries for the seasoned with chipotle ranch! Great beer selection. Our waitress was super cool. Nice little spot for lunch or dinner.
Our first time here ended up being one of our best dining experiences in years! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The chips and salsa were house made, and that guacamole was sooo good!!! The citrus pecan salad was very tasty, and the southern fried chicken was incredibly moist with a satisfying, crispy breading that had a nice, subtle spice to it. Our server, Carlos, was absolutely on point and assisted with several tweaks to our meal to meet our personal dietary needs. The manager, Jen, was very engaging and attentive to her guests (I just loved her!), while overseeing a tight, well-run restaurant where the staff clearly enjoy working together. We are so excited to return and try their wood-fired dishes next, as we slowly work our way through their menu! Easily one of the most exciting restaurants we’ve found in years!
I used to love this place good food on the pricey side but good. This last visit we felt like the staff didn't want anymore customers. They were not pleasant. I could see the bar tender was working alone and trying to keep up and that made him unavailable to serve his tables where we were seated. It just wasn't worth the time money or experience this time. I understand short staffing and I hope the staff can get the joy back because it definitely wasn't good on this day. I still gave a good tip.
The restaurant was freezing. I had to wear my coat the whole time I was there. The fried chicken was decent. Good selection of beers on tap.
