Best Mexican food I've had in town, recommend the carnitas plate, they no longer have the cochinita pibil but the carnitas were very comparable in flavor and authenticity. Dessert was amazing, if you havent already tried the flan, it's not too sweet, the texture is soft, and the caramelization is perfection. Will be coming back for date night soon!
Absolutely amazing! We never fail to have a fantastic meal here. The food is unique and familiar at once and SO delicious! I could eat their soapas everyday. The drinks are fresh and flavorful and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They have a way of making you feel at home. Did I mention the food? It's good. It's really really good.
Food and drinks are fantastic here - just be prepared for a wait, at least on the weekend (the only time I’ve been so far). We arrived at about 6:45 on a Saturday evening and were told the wait was about an hour and a half. Once a spot opened up near the bar, we were able to enjoy a drink while we waited, and our table was ready faster than anticipated, in just over an hour. Note that there’s no text alert system or anything, so you’ll want to plan on waiting onsite at the bar area.The tlacoyo is my favorite dish here, but I’d recommend ordering a few small plates to share, as there’s lots to enjoy! The margaritas and sangria are fabulous, too.

Best authentic Mexican food in Portland!
You really can't pick a bad thing on the menu and you get more than what you pay for! I sat at the bar and found lovely conversation with staff and fellow diners. Food was scrumptious and drinks were delightful. The ambiance was pleasant and people were cheery. Very good smells here. Will go again :)
Todo is great here. Try the cinnamon mezcal drink.

Be patient because excellence is arriving. This place rocks! The bartender is supreme. The chief has mad skills. There isn’t anything on their menu that is bad. Omg what a treat. It is a busy place cause of it. Don’t ruin it by being inpatient. Cause it is worth it. Even things I normally don’t like but my mate does, was beyond awesome. We will return and return!
