In the hunt for Christmas crab claws- this year they're not to be found anywhere! Just off the phone with the office here, and enjoyed a very pleasant conversation of what's going on, and why. There are countless reasons to skip this store. First thing is how overpriced literally everything is. Rich people shop here to feel entitled, pure and simple. Don’t be fooled by their perceived knowledge of seafood either, the gentlemen behind the fish counter had no idea what sushimi or sushi grade tuna was. Learn to be humble, calm your ego, and shop somewhere else. Just more lipstick on an already over dressed pig.
Standout quality, selection and friendly service. We've purchased seafood here dozens of times without a single miss. It can be a bit pricey, but it's the best option in the area, we think. Love their weekly fish report newsletter, too.
One of the best gifts Portland has to offer in terms of quality, selection, sustainability, price and an incredibly knowledgeable friendly staff. I've been coming here for years, starting back before they moved to NW. I'm addicted to the smoked trout but end up purchasing more from the other shops.
