We had Sushi Lunch A and Lunch combo (tonkatsu + sashimi) on a chill Friday noon, and the food is delicious and fresh! I love the vibe of the restaurant and of course the food, which really gives an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine. And you can have each of these with less than 30 dollars per person :)Recommend to anyone who like great food, even if you never tried Japanese food before :)

Oh my God I love sushi, I eat it weekly (maybe not super safe) and I love Murata as a kinda casual yet amazing fresh fish spot. The portions are so large, like wow, the atmosphere is authentic and the service is very attentive, it's a small spot cant fit too many people maybe no more than 20-30, but that's part of what I love. The chicken is also great.
This was the most authentic sushi experience I have ever had outside of Japan. Truly incredible. I came based on reviews before a red eye flight while in town for work, worth every penny and minute!
Had valentine's dinner here and was not disappointed. Food was excellent, service was kind and attentive. The server even refilled the sake glasses for my wife and I while we had the bottle on the table. On par with top sushi restaurants in PDX like bamboo. Would definitely return ?.
Typical Japanese restaurant. Wide range of menu is impressive. Tuna from Hawaii is super good. Everything here was good.
We ordered mostly rolls and one nigiri. Everything was delicious. The smoked salmon roll was notably amazing with deep rich smokeyness. Great service. Got a bottle of Saks as well. We'll priced in my opinion especially for the quality.
Wonderful, kind staff and amazing quality sushi! We had the omakaze and it was perfect. Love the overall atmosphere of this truly authentic Japanese restaurant.
Absolutely amazing sushi. Worth ever penny. The freshness is beyond any other place I've been in the Portland area. If you have the chance to sit at the sushi bar, do it. Watching the sushi chefs perform their work is stunning. Absolute precision and care put in every plate. Looking forward to coming back here again for another wonderful experience
