I've been coming here for years and won't be back. The worker, who I'd never seen before today, took FOREVER to take the order, before doing something intentionally humiliating. She and the two other workers were very busy making other sandwiches, which of course is fine. She made it clear that she wasn't available yet--at no point was she anywhere near the register, nor did she make eye contact with me.. I was on the phone and waiting for her to walk toward the register to end the call (she was clear on the other side near the slicer). Several minutes after waiting just for the order to be taken, I just ended the call. With several other customers in the restaurant, having had their orders already taken and were waiting for their orders, the woman loudly announced that since "you're not on the phone anymore, I'll take your order," with the other customers turning to look at me when she said this. I don't know her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag. I rarely ever am on the phone when ordering something, and in the rare event that I am, I always put the phone down when a cashier or employee is ready. I have worked many jobs like this myself and know how it feels. This employee didn't give me the opportunity. I chose to walk next door to get lunch instead.Update. As I'm standing outside writing this, someone, a woman, unseen drove by and called out "ahem...***hole." I looked around, and heard a "yes, you." I don't know if this was an employee or just a customer who only heard enough to think I was the enemy here. Lovely to know that I risk being publicly harassed and bullied if I dare to stand outside any business in this shopping center. Among the most egregious behavior I've seen.
Nightmare. I was the only customer when I walked in. It still took 15 minutes to get two sandwiches. There were three teenagers working, who didn’t speak a word to each other. I watched one of them put two single slices of turkey on a sandwich. Writing this review while I wait (20 mins now!), haven’t even eaten this yet and I know I’ll never be back.
I have a little issue when places list that they're open and their front doors open and their hours say they're open and then when you walk in they're closed. The guys in there making himself a sandwich but he says oh we're closed for tonight at 7:30. Then why listed your hours are open to 8:00? So we will not be coming back to monkey subs It is now off our list of places to use locally. Very sad.
My first time trying Monkey Subs and I was disappointed. Average, or less. Potato salad was $2.75 for a tablespoon and tasted like Reeser's. Sandwiches were basic, absolutely nothing special to show how they differ from Jimmy John's, Subway, Firehouse, ect. Save your money and make your own sub sandwiches - at least you'd be able to differentiate from other sub shops. Not interested in trying again, as all four of us were disappointed.
Excellent gluten free sandwiches and customer service. If you want a fully loaded, perfectly toasted sandwich then look no further
Great service and friendly staff! Best gluten free sandwich ??.
First time here and it was super good. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The gentleman working was extremely kind to us as well as the next customer - who he actually went out of his way to pay for his meal when he said he couldn’t afford it.I will definitely be back!
Monkeys Subs are delicious. The meat is always sliced to order, the bread is fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly. It's what slSubway wishes they could be. Protip: go on Fridays for free cookies. Thank me later.
Always the Best!! I don’t know what bread you made my samich with but, hoo-ee! So good! So much love in this.
Delicious sandwiches and the staff is always awesome.
