Great little hole in the wall. Went to bamboo they gave us a an hour 45 min wait. Which truly is super overrated. The sushi ? here is much bigger pieces, fresh and tastier. Support the local family spotsThank you for the great food and service
The sushi is always fresh, tastes delicious, and is well priced! My partner and I have been to many sushi restaurants in the area, and we both agree: this is one of the best!
Nice local sushi place, but look elsewhere if they are busy. Service is slow and it can take an long time to get served. Also, they always seem to have the same music playing.
So normally this place is great, but this last time I went there, the fish in one of the rolls wasn't very fresh and tasted ultra fishy. When I mentioned this to our server he just said "well it IS raw fish" and walked away. Bad quality and a bad attitude isn't a great combo.
I loved the Hawaiian and Vegas rolls.And the pork gyoza dumplings were delightfully crispy.

So glad we found this spot. The fish is really fresh which is what one expects but often don't get with other sushi restaurants. Very friendly staff and chefs. They remembered us only after the second time we came in. Highly recommend. Good choice of fish, reasonable prices.
The best sushi place in Portland! It is just a small restaurant near Whole Food but serves surprisingly good sushi. Friendly servers and I highly recommend the otoro nigiri. Would definitely come back???
