Super expensive which I wouldn’t mind if the quality was there but poor quality and lack of professional Japanese sushi chef skill shouldn’t be that costly. Heck the sushi was warm, not proportional to the rice and even the California roll was different sizes with rice that wasn’t fully cooked. No Asian employees so not sure what happened but it’s not authentic at all. Worse yet, I paid $3 extra for fresh wasabi and got the regular preservative wasabi. What a rip off. The miso soup tasted like vinegar. Not much was good about the meal.

This place has a bright, energetic atmosphere and friendly waitstaff, and the food is gorgeous. The specialty rolls are unique, generous, fish-forward and well-balanced. No rice-heavy sushi here! The traditional hamachi roll was packed with fish and tasted very fresh. The seaweed salad was just right; not overly sweet, and the pickled vegetable plate is a great choice for anyone into pickled foods, offering a beautiful variety of flavors, colors, and textures. The presentation of every single dish was exquisite. The waitstaff was unhurried with a good-natured Portland vibe, and they accommodated our large group easily despite being quite busy. The price was also quite reasonable, given the quality and size of each roll

We love Miyamoto! Great staff, nice ambience indoors and outdoors, and the sushi is excellent. Every bite of fish I've had here is always high quality. My favorite thing to order is the chirashi bowl.

Shut up, get the $90 omakase only, and eat. Chefs are Japanese by skill.

Miyamoto is my favorite Sushi destination in town. The selection and quality is top notch, as well as the service. Then, what puts this place on a whole other level, you also get access to Roscoe's (taproom nextdoor)beer list! They also have Japanese whiskey and sake. Kid friendly and some outdoor seating.

Came here as an alternative option when we realized another place was closed. Food & service was pretty good! Overall the sushi qualify was nice. A couple of tasty sushi options. Overall, everyone was happy. We sat indoor, but their outdoor seating where eat table has a small fire would be nice on a slightly warmer day.

it was good , I like the green tea.and souce for the octopus.

The premier sushi venue in Oregon with a wide variety of fresh dishes and 20 micro brews on tap. An excellent combination for an amazing dining experience.

Ever since I found Miyamoto its been my designated spot for quality Sushi without having to go all the way downtown. The fish is fresh and one of the only places where the sushi rice also left an impression on me. A review I read a while ago mentioned that there used to be an experienced Japanese chef here which could be why Miyamoto does its sushi very well. The rolls are sometimes a little loose but nothing that will ruin the experience. I recommend Today's Nigiri for any first timers as you will get a good example for the type of quality to expect from Miyamoto Below are some of the orders ive made in the past.
