My salmon rolls were a salmon puree instead of actual salmon and they were chalk full of bone. The tuna sashimi was also very dry like it had been sitting out. I would not recommend any mio sushi location.
Eh. Had hopes. 2 out of 3 rolls were very loosely rolled like falling apart no matter the angle picked up with chopsticks. Flavor was not great either. Spicy tuna was very bland almost no flavor outside of onion that was in it. Tempura asparagus roll was not super fresh was mushy and tasted like ginger for some reason. Mango tea was decent flavor except unripe mango chunks. Best thing we ordered was pork potstickers they were spot on.
Super awesome lunch experience! The lunch special was so delicious and reasonably priced. The waiter was super kind also and that made my experience awesome. I usually get my food to go here but I’m glad I dined in this time.
My new favorite spot!!!Staff is very kind, the food was exceptional!I’ve never had better gyoza and the tempura was astounding!Clean soy sauce bottles and oh my gosh mochi. Thank you for the best birthday lunch
I use to eat here often. The staff was always so attentive & kind. But when I got my Tempura ? shrimp that was piping hot on the outside & frozen in the middle, I decided at those prices, I can find friendly staff in many other places throughout the city, who'll serve proper food.
Delicious and quick. Great variety. Will come again.
I've eaten at the Mio Sushi on Killingworth Street several times, always a good experience. This was the first time at the Sellwood location and the food, service, etc. was excellent. Their spider rolls (softshell crab) are my favorite, but I do like everything I've tried at Mio Sushi. Just think, four years ago I thought I didn't like sushi.
The food is amazing and delicious!Craving Mio Sushi tonight so came back to see other ppl’s photo also to throw a bunch of photos that I took throughout the years. It’s such a perfect spot to stop by especially after a long walk and sun bathing from the sellwood river front park during summer. I highly recommend to give this place a try if you are close by.My favorite changes over time. I used to like Nigiris and hosomaki(the roll has one ingredient) then my taste changed it to some baked sushi rolls like mt rainier and double crunch. I am drooling while writing this review. ? Bento is a ? so give it a try if you haven’t had it yet.
The sushi here can be great but their to-go orders are a mess when they're busy. Really seemed like our last order just sat around for a long time (temps and textures were super off, taste was not great) and it took an hour longer for them to prepare than they told us, so we just had to wait in the parking lot wondering if or when food was coming. It was very disappointing and kind of confusing.
Love Mio sushi! They're so friendly, and they have great sushi. I usually get a Chirashi bowl and it's always delicious.
