Takes forever to get drinks. Even when no one is there. Asked me if I still wanted my drink after all the ice melted at the bar. Um, no, maybe 20 minutes ago. Will never go back here again, and neither should you. All I ordered was two drinks. Each took over 20 minutes to get to the table. The second one never even made it.
Now don't get me wrong I love McMenamins, enjoy in particular staying on the properties with lodging. But this one is not up to the usual standard. Might have been covid, but the employees were not on the ball as is usual and the food was not well cooked. If you are in Portland and wanting a great experience I would suggest going to the Kennedy School instead.
I came in when it was ‘less busy than usual’, got sat, then was ignored entirely. Not even a quick hello. I wasn’t even noticed walking out right in front of the staff.
McMenamins Broadway Pub was an amazing first dinner experience for me and my boyfriend's first stop here in Portland.This Pub had an AMAZING server with stunning orange hair who read our minds the whole time we were there. They helped my boyfriend and I get a much needed cooling breeze by opening the large front windows for us, too.We highly recommend this place if you're in the area and want to sit down and enjoy a good meal with a fantastic view of the busy and hippy streets outside!
We've been a few times trying to see if we could get better service but they could use some improvement in that area. Getting a waitstaff person to come back to the table in a timely fashion is frustrating. The pub wasn't particularly busy when we arrived on our most recent visit and we were able to get a table on the patio (which we highly recommend, its lovely) however, most of the tables sat empty yet uncleared and drawing flies. We finally left before ordering a 2nd round of drinks because no one ever came out to check on us. However, it is a great location (if you don't mind the overwhelming smell of nail polish remover when you come into the lobby...it'll make sense when you arrive.) We will go back. Food is fine, nothing special but decent.
Celina shifted into high gear admirably for our last-minute table for 15. She was organized and pleasant. I would come here again.
We had an amazing lunch here. Our waiter was beyond awsome. Unfortunately we did not get his name. The food was also wonderful. Would definitely eat there again.

Great open bar experience. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Came in for a beer only and they didn’t skip a beat offering a menu, water, and the offer for more if I needed anything else. 10/10
Service was on the slow side but it was kinda busy. The bartender 'RJ' was amazing once he got to us. Friendly cool and attentive. Lots of fun chit chat and quick service. Def recommend any McMenamins. I've been to many.
