What an amazing theater. McMenamins has done a wonderful job preserving this beautiful gem. Having a meal and a drink while watching movie is great. If you sit upstairs the bathrooms are really close and you don't miss very much of the movie if you have to take a kid to the bathroom.

The best service and best place for people watching in the city. This is a new favorite spot. Friendly staff and good food if you want. Highly recommended.

This is the second McMenamins restaurant / brewpub we’ve gone to on this trip. Happenstance. The decor for each was unique but the food and service were consistently good! Worth the stop!

Great location with open air seating. I went here to relax after working hard all day on my car and I just wanted a cocktail and some food. Wait staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Cocktail looked amazing. Tasted ok. Was a cocktail that sounded like a Mojito somewhat but it came more like a fruit drink and not as light and refreshing as the menu suggested, just tasted like fruit punch. I asked for a straw she said no problem and seven minutes later I had to get up and go to the bar and get my own straw. My basket of mini corndogs came out absolutely overcooked and when I bit into them they were greasy and crunchy not anything like a corndog they were burnt and tasted horrible. Eight the ones that weren’t that terrible but I couldn’t finish them. I’m surprised they served them to me. When my food is brought out I had no place settings and no napkins and had asked for that also. I’m sure certain things are good here and today I just happen to get not so good of service and some bad items but I would go back because the atmosphere is so inviting. Some places are worth a second shot.

Our large group came here to watch the new Dr. Strange movie and have a couple drinks. It was quite the view as we sat on the balcony section inside of this iconic theater. The multigenerational old interior design is an awe to look at, while those surround sound speakers packs a loud punch. It really was an attraction and also an enjoyable movie-going experience.

Love this place! Best things is a couple blocks away from my place. I really appreciate they usually show the movies I want to watch and the wait before the movie starts is so perfect; I could spend hours watching all those old theatre details, don’t miss the chandeliers.

Have seen several movies here and it's always a good time. The theater is really beautiful and so large that it feels comfortable in covid times. They play the audio of the movie in the bathrooms so it doesn't feel like you're missing anything. Lots of food and drink options, heads up though the guy working there said they use dairy based butters so if you're vegan or allergic don't get the butter on your popcorn.

Wonderful fish and chips, great drinks and a very cool atmosphere. From the lights on the ceiling to the rugs on the walls, this place has a gypsy vibe that is funky, fun and inviting all at the same time. Great music and the staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite theatres in town. The seats are comfortable. Easy to distance from others if you prefer. Good beverage and snack selection.Popcorn ? is buttery. They even have specific film-themed cocktails. An icee machine would be heavenly…

Fun pub food menu and good beers to go with the big beautiful theater
