Great lunch, good price.
delicious food, outstanding quality and service.
I ordered chicken shawarma over rice with salad and sauces ontop #15 on menu. Simply amazing and delicious food it’s one of my favorite Mediterranean foodtrucks in downtown Portland. It was so good to the point where I kept swallowing food instead of chewing it. This place recommended.
This joint simply doesn't deserve the 2.4 star rating that it has. I live in Portland and have had many a lamb gyro in this city. Mawj Babylon's are on par and at a superior price point than most these days. I appreciate well seasoned meat, and the lamb here is extremely flavorful. Easy to tell, since the bottom of my plate was filled with leftover pieces. My photos don't do justice. Very satisfied with quality of food, size of portions, and speed and quality of service (even though I was the only one there).
Shockingly depressing inability to offer even a lack of service.

Lots of meat. Flavorful. Chicken gyro.
Their food is 100% different than pictured. I ordered the item on the menu and this is what I got (both pictured). Food is fine, but it isn't what I ordered.
Ordered the lamb gyro w/ fries, and a taro boba milk tea. Both were really good.(wasn't a fan of the fries but oh well) The service was nice and attentive. Tip=order spicy...it's not super spicy but is very flavorful!!
Where to start. I ordered the lamb gyro, tabouli and hummus from uber eats. The lamb was overcooked but edible. The tabouli was loosely chopped (with stems intact) rather than diced. There were raw oats or rice sprinkled on it which were hard enough to break molars on. The hummus was a watery, unseasoned liquidy paste. Easily the worst Mediterranean food I've had in Portland...or anywhere. Best of luck to these guys and their ability to get things turned around. And prayers for anyone who eats there.
