Can be on the spendy side depending on what you get, but absolutely delicious, everything fresh, made quickly, and you get to pick the exact ingredients. What does it say about Portland that Whole Foods makes better burritos than most if not all of the restaurants here?EDIT 1/3/20:I'm afraid the food here has gone badly downhill after my initial positive review. Just ... awful. It's as if some new and completely incompetent chef had been put in charge. Where as the whole beans (black or pinto) used to be plump and savory, now you get a kind of tasteless sludge which might as well have come straight out of a can. It's like a night and day difference with everything. That fresh quality I had raved about is just completely absent. And it isn't just the ingredients: the first two times I got a burrito here the same guy made it, and you could tell he cared about what he was doing: If the beans were a little watery, he would take the time to drain some of the liquid off. And he knew the right amount, the right balance, when it came to adding ingredients like cilantro or cabbage. The last time I got a burrito here--and I do mean the last time--the woman making it might as well have been the janitor, just piling everything on with seeming indifference to the end result. It's not like it would have mattered if she'd been more motivated, given how bad the food itself has become--but it didn't exactly help, either. It could have been great--it WAS great--but sad to say, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone now.

Just remember: This is where you eat when you don't have time to go elsewhere. Whole paycheck for just average food.
