Love the lutz! Great veggie or meat burgers, affordable drinks, great patio and charming old school bar. And yes the sell cigarettes!
Good bar, nice people good food. I looked in the kitchen and its the cleanest kitchen ever.
Loved the food & atmosphere. They have a great back patio, as well as, outside seating on the front and side sidewalks. Bartender was great too! Not overly friendly but friendly and quick.
This is always a great stop. Happy hour until 7pm, daily specials & solid staff - professional & prompt, somehow always able to remember what I like.
Let's see what I can say about the Lutz tavern on Woodstock it was a childhood /young adult era when I first became a customer. My family has worked there before my brother and uncle so I spent many days and nights frequenting this establishment. Always been known for gatherings visiting hanging out with friends. I'm proud to say years later as a older adult I stopped in with my roommate and was pleasantly surprised to see that this atmosphere hadn't changed, the staff Marcie and I believe Christopher/ could possibly be Jonathan can't remember sorry we're the greatest staff I've had in a while. They were very efficient pleasant friendly just all around great people gave me a very comfortable atmosphere to eat enjoy my burger and play some pinball with my friend, it's got that neighborhood charm that I love to have where everybody would know your name even though I knew nobody made me feel welcome thoroughly enjoyed the food it was absolutely 100% amazing so with great food and amazing staff I definitely would come back to lutz tavern and bar this place is definitely a go-to for good food and company.
I came here with my 2 dudes back in 2016, we were visiting portland for only 2 nights and we came here off a recommendation and immediately came back our second night. We didnt care what we might miss. This place was worth it. 6 years later we ventured back, if only for the nostalgia. Boy howdy was it worth it. Still, somehow, years later; the best burger, atmosphere, and vibes I've encountered in my time. You're visiting Portland? Come here. Even just to try and prove me wrong. I DARE you. I'm not going to eat beef for 6 months because I'll be upset.

Cocktails are very drinkable and cheap. I remember one night we had a few and ended up getting so drunk we were blasting 80s hair metal on the jukebox and singing along. Great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some burgers and brews.
Great local dive bar. It's got a jukebox, covered outdoor seating, a couple pinball machines, great staff, a huge selection of whisky, and a cool vintage building to hold it all.If it weren't for the douchebag clientele, it would be five star.
