Amazing incredible all of the superlatives. The best pizza and ice cream I've ever had. Thank you!

Over-Hyped and Over PricedThe positives: nice people, very thoroughly organic and made from scratch. The bummers: flies swarming in the kitchen, and the silly level of prices. $4 for a small dish of herb ranch. All salads, pizzas, bread (!) and the ice cream were way over priced. Food flavors ranged from very good (carrot soup) to below average (anise sausage pizza). Our dinner companions touted it as the best in Portland. Certainly there are other pizzerias that are better. We’ll look for one of those the next time we’re out for pizza. Not recommended.

Lovely's Fifty Fifty is an excellent place for a fun and upbeat dinner with friends. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and balances sophistication with a sense of belonging. They offer a variety of nuanced appetizers that complement the exceptional pizzas that follow. The sausage and fennel pizza (pictured) and the kale and eggplant pizza come highly recommended. :)And for dessert, homemade ice cream with a variety of unique flavor combinations feels like a less whacky and more authentic version of Salt & Straw. I highly recommend Lovely's for anyone trying to get a taste of what Portland's food scene is all about, and I'll definitely be returning soon.

Exceptional! Seasonal menu! A lot of creatively and imagination in the ingredient, texture, color and taste.

Passing thru we dropped in for dinner on 5/7/22. Service was decent and acceptable. We ordered the spring greens salad with hazelnuts that was so good we ordered another! Then on to the asparagus pizza that was very good but not great enough for 5 stars. All in all a good experience and would definitely go back if in the area.

Just went here for ice cream, it was delicious. Flavors are unique and taste natural but still so satisfying. This just became my new favorite ice cream spot. Staff was so friendly and helpful as well. Glad this one made it through the last two years. Will be back.

First of all, basically everything we had was amazing. All the ingredients were fresh, the dishes were well put together and really highlighted the local seasonal ingredients. But I have to ask - what the hell happened to the pizza crust? It was bland, under- (or over?) proofed, dry on the outside but doughy on the inside, and basically felt like a chore to eat. This place has been around forever and has a (well deserved) reputation for exceptional pizza, but something seems to be off lately based on our last experience and other recent reviews. Still worth it for the salads, wine, and ice cream, but the pizza was a let down.Normally I don't write negative reviews unless a place is truly so awful I want to warn others away, but in this case I believe (hope) they care enough about their food that they'd want their customers to notice the difference.

I'm so sorry, I know this place is beloved. I just don't agree. Specifically, the dough/crust -- for me -- tastes like bitter cardboard. It's beyond bland, and I cannot understand why people think this pizza is so good. There is also -- and we've been to this place several dozen times (my husband loves them) -- a sadly limited amount of cheese on 90 percent of their pizzas. We recently got the mushroom pizza, which was amazingly garlicky and delicious, as far as sauce and toppings go. But the greens were sandy. You have to wash your greens thoroughly. Lovely's gets a ton of business, so I'm sure it was about a rush and lack of time. Maybe let your greens soak and spin them dry?On the other hand, Lovely's gets at least three stars for their red sauce. The sauce is delicious. Amazing, lots of oregano and complexity. Beautiful.Apologies and respect to the owners. There are obviously a lot of people who disagree with me. I just know I'll have to be back soon and would be thrilled to see you guys play with a different crust.

This is the quintessential Portland Gourmet pizza experience. A must try, at least once in your life ?
