So disappointed. Ordered two cheeseburgers and two truffle fries. One burger was medium, as described, the other was almost raw. One bag of fries was good the other was so over cooked they were more like potato chips than fries and they tasted overcooked. One full meal was a complete waste of money and not edible. Either their grill and fryer don’t cook evenly or two different cooks and one is not good. I ordered to go so I had no idea the money I wasted until I got back to the OHSU building, which was only a two minute walk so everything was still fresh. I do not recommend this place.
Went to the Little Big Burger on Bond in Portland, thinking it was going to be similar to Five Guys. Wow, was I wrong! I ordered The Hawthorne, and it was absolutely sensational!!! Seriously, just the best burger I've had in quite a while. The fries are terrific as well. I was sad not to make it back for another burger before leaving town.
Guy that helped myself (41) and my folks was very professional. Some other great folks showed up to help after we had been served and were also very helpful. Great music playing though Siri could not identify it. The food was great. Quality beef and they offer a beyond burger too. We shared a French fry which they called truffle fries. Normal fries. Big portion. The burger had high quality (bubbas?) pickles and fresh red onions. A splash of house ketchup that had a touch of KC zing. Fry sauce was fry sauce. Atmosphere and clientele were pleasing to be around. The bun was small and dark and artisan. The portion of that was perfect. Fed 3 for $18 (plus tip). I had the cheeseburger with blue as the cheese. Still thinking about it 9 hours later.
The staff were very friendly, but the food was over priced for such small portions. The burgers didn't have any flavor and the truffle fries just tasted like plain old shoestring friesFirst and last time we will eat here just because of price to portion ratio.
Burger was good. Fries were really salty. Drinks cost the same as fries... Which is odd to me. This was my first time in. Explained that to the employee at the counter, and he offered no help in deciding anything or how to order. Made my first trip here not the greatest. The food was ok, but the burger was greasy (dripping as you bite into it).
Not what I was expecting. Burger was dry and pretty ordinary. I ordered it with Jack Cheese and they forgot to put it on. I read the description of the fries and it said it was made with White Truffle Oil. The fries didn't have any truffle flavor. They too were just ordinary.Service was fine, a nice person took my order and the cook handed it to me. Just an unremarkable experience. I wanted to love this food.
$7.50 for a beyond burger, and size didn't match usual impressions for a burger. Was small and thick rather than an average patty size literally anywhere else. Seemed like a small in comparison. Two for $15 felt expensive. Overall simple flavors yet tasty. No issues with the food. But the online order wouldn't let me submit 15 min in advance, made me extend 30 minutes and ended up waiting which would have been the case if I arrived in person anyway. 90% off deal on signup also didn't apply until the purchase, and you have to install the app to claim it. Not transparent. I doubt I'll come back, as I can make the same burger twice the size for half the price in less time. Yikes!
The chicken burger ? is super filling and delicious ?. Their fry sauce is tangy and worth every dip!
Cleaner, faster, more efficient than many of its brethren, although still a bit bogged down by the colossal influx of DoorDash, GrubHub and online pick-up orders. Still, they manage to churn out a pair of tasty burgers, and a bag of fresh, warm, delicious fries, in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely a great lunch spot on the South Waterfront, particularly if you're in a hurry, or smart enough to plan ahead.
When I went there all the time. They always get the burger right and they always get the truffle fries right. But just recently today I ordered a double down burger that specifically said double meat double cheese, there is no cheese in my burger. I talk to the counter and they offered me to make another burger for free and this time they added it with cheese. When it comes to menu item we got to be specific that if it says it comes with some thing it comes with some thing. It is not an additional charge for add cheese to an item that says it has cheese on it.
