Pizza tasted good but I didn’t like the service. They told us you can sit wherever you like and after we were seated they came and told us to change our seat! It just doesn’t make sense and it took a long time for the food to be ready.
Got the margarita pizza. Happy hour from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. is only $7. The kids both got spaghetti with bolognese sauce. It was nice and creamy.
I’ve eaten here at least 20 times (both locations) and it’s incredible every single time. I love how I can order ahead with an option for asap or scheduled so I can plan ahead when I’m out shopping or heading into Portland. We moved away from the area in Nov 2020 but this is a must eat every time I’m back in Vancouver. Yes I go out of my way and travel to Portland for it! (Even tho Portland has gone so downhill…. Luckily it’s somewhat okay near both locations!) I’ve gotten many of my friends and family hooked on it and it makes me happy to support places that pride themselves on quality food with quality ingredients! I usually request my pizza to be double cut for ease of eating.
Top recommendation! The pizza is superb and you can create your own with fresh ingredients. Their garlic confit is heavenly, gnocchi was fantastic, beer on tap (IPA was delicious). Will be back!!
Love their pizza crust and plentiful toppings on each slice.
Ordered online for pick up. Was easy enough. They sent me a time, but also text when my order was ready to pick up. I ordered the garlic bread and bacon, leeks and goat cheese pizza (both pictured). Loved the combination of flavors on the pizza. Garlic bread was not greasy like other garlic breads I've had. Nice garlic flavor but not over powering. I also love that you can get up to two ranch before they charge you!
Ordered garlic bread, caramelized onions goat cheese and garlic confit, and season mushrooms pecorino Romano and truffle oil. The garlic bread was good version of garlic bread because it was thin bread and the cheese (maybe Parmesan) was a strong flavor. Between the pizzas I definitely preferred the garlic confit, the garlic was definitely not overpowering but it definitely comes through clearly. On the mushroom pizza, the mushrooms were on the raw side which I don’t prefer.
Incredible pizza. Best pizza I've had on the west coast. Extremely polite and helpful staff.
Amazing pizza crust, great beer on tap. And the Kale salad? Awesome! Very silent place, perfect for eating inside. They do have few tables outside as well. Recommended. Don't forget to try to put a bit of their homemade olive oil on top of your meal!
we were very impressed by the friendly young man, Conrad, behind the pizza bar. not only was he super informative and makes a mean pie, he’s also quite the looker. thanks Life of Pie for a 5 star experience
