Ordered two pies, the Blueberry Victoria (blueberry lemon) and a Chocolate Cream. They were beautiful and probably the best pies we have had in a long time. The Blueberry Victoria is amazing!, perfect combination of sweet and tart.
Holy cow, this place is amazing! Everything we had was incredible, and as you can see from the photo, we got a nice smattering of delicious goods! The salted honey pie was unique and especially tasty, as was the strawberry short pie (yes, it's strawberry shortcake inside a pie)! Also, the lemon bars were out of this world! We look forward to going and trying some of their savory goods as well for brunch someday.
Lauretta Jeans... gosh I love this place. You really can't go wrong with any of their pie flavors (honey pie and chocolate chess have been my favorites). Their brownies are incredibly rich and delicious. Even their tomato jammers and biscuits are superb. It's just a really fun place to get dessert after walking around on Division Street. Be prepared for a line sometimes though!
I ordered blackberry raspberry streusel. It was good but not amazingly delicious. Like my mother can bake like this. And a slice of pie is now $6 plus they ask if you want to tip.The staff was not nice.We wanted to eat there but we couldn't come inside and had to wait standing outside in cold rainy weather. And they don't mention it on their website.
The quiche was very good, had a flavorful crust.Desserts were to die for. The strawberry short pie was possibly the best pie I have ever had.
These biscuits keep me coming back!!! The quiche is so yummy!! The vegetarian/vegan soups are super savory and delicious. Love their safety protocols and the friendly service. The ONLY reason they are not a perfect 5 stars for me is the lack of decaf coffee.
You cannot go wrong with either the salted honey or the chocolate chess. They might not look like the most exciting pies in the window, but the flavor and richness is indescribable for both of them. One of those things that you eat where you make a yummy noise with each bite because the next bite is just as good as the first. By far my favorite pies…ever. (Don’t tell my mom)
Happened to be walking by and was drawn to this old school looking bakery. Picked up the saltine grapefruit pie, scoop of vanilla ice cream and an espresso. The pie was an exquisite balance of flavors. Grapefruit had barely enough bitterness/tartness. The cream on top was airy and just enough sweet. Crust was perfectly hard to hold up the pie. Loved it!House made vanilla scoop was creamy with the right amount of vanilla bean to hit the spot. My wife had the great idea to make an affogatto with the espresso. It was a fantastic top off to a beautiful sunny afternoon out!
I wish this place weren't so great, but it is...consistently delicious and reasonably priced items. I often need to order more than one item! I just wish you could dine in and that they didn't reduce their hours.
This is my favorite pie spot in Portland. Oh yeah, their other sweets like cakes and biscuits are also very very good. They have a big selection of savory, sweet, hot, and cold pies. I have tried many different flavors and they are all amazing, so I don't think I have a favorite one. Each time I come here, I get flustered and not sure what to order, because everything looks so damn good in their display case. Especially that old school spinning case. I pretty much close my eyes and point or have the staff recommend something to me.Lauretta Jeans is the bomb, come and get you some.
