We came here wanting some healthy grub. We got the Korean bowl and the Bollywood bowl. Korean bowl had a good kick to it and was very saucy, almost too saucy. My bollywood bowl missed the mark. The sauce was great, but there wasn't enough on it in my opinion to make up for the fact that the veggies that come with it aren't seasoned at all. And the curry chickpeas that came with it were rock hard, basically inedible. If the chickpeas hadn't been over cooked and there was a little more sauce, I probably would have loved it.

Soooo good! My second visit while in town and checked out a different location. Just had to come back. I had the Comfort Bowl and removed the dairy along with a Mango Peach Lemon smoothy. Was so good I didn't even get a picture before I dug in!
The food was good and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable and there is plenty of space between tables. The staff was courteous and friendly.The flavor was quite good on the Thai bowl. It was not too spicy. I think the portions could be a little larger on the bowl dishes but that’s a minor quibble.If you want to eat at a restaurant with healthy choices, fast service and reasonable prices, then make sure to pay the Laughing Planet on SE Woodstock a visit.
Usually have had good experiences and good from this place, and unfortunately I'm having to post this here since I couldnt get through on their phone line. Gotta say though, I'm not sure how anyone could call what they gave a me a quesadilla. When I picked up the first slice I was so confused because I didn't think there was any cheese on it at all. And The minimal cheese on there at all was all dried up. ZERO gooeyness. Luckily had cheese at home to add on it myself but this is a sad excuse for a quesadilla, and I hope this is an exception not the standard that they serve. Quesadillas should bee OOOZING with cheese, and this was a major disappointment ?
Have ordered this same bowl (Paleo, with tempeh) at least 15x in the past. Today is was the most measly portion I’ve ever seen. This bowl used to come filled to the top. It’s about 1/4 full. And $12 (plus tip!). Unacceptable.
I appreciate the hard work everyone puts forth at this location. The food is always good & in times when it’s not up to par, they’re always quick & happy to help you out. Anyone who complains about this restaurant are clearly entitled. All these folks are respectful, kind, & warm-hearted. There’s nothing negative I can say. Kindness & patience goes a long way, folks. Exercise it.
We've always enjoyed our visits to various Laughing Planets. This was no exception. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Folks were friendly and efficient. We'll keep going back.

The website does not indicate that the location I went to (on Woodstock in Portland), only serves take out. Huge surprise and embarrassment as I was to have an important meeting there today. A clear note on the website for each location would have worked. I see other diners also made this assumption. Rather than apologies, fix it and help retain loyalty, cause you just lost mine.
