We were on a long line waiting to get into the pasta restaurant next door when my son, who Iives in Portland, suggested that we check out Lardo. Best idea ever! Had the porchetta on a roll with arugula, gremolata, parmesan and caper mayo. Perfect size for me. If you are really hungry get the amazing Nashville hot fried chicken. Really. You can have pasta anytime! Great cocktails as well.

Stopped in today after spending a few hours at Powell’s City Books. The grilled mushroom yeero was tasty but a little overpriced for what you get. The Kumar burger was delicious but a tad over priced for just a burger. Fries were delicious but very salty (this is coming from the Queen of salt!). The dill pickle was a nice addition to meal and we rounded it off with the potato salad which was a little too cold so you don’t get the full flavor profile. We would stop back when we are in town.

Nashville hot chicken was a bit dry but tasted good. Not a lot of vegetarian options available.
Very good place for port related food dishes. My favorite was the macaroni salad which includes ham and pineapple. Parmesan fries are okay. Banh mi pork meatball sandwich is really good.

Interesting sandwiches on really good rolls. Had the pork belly with kimchi and the pork meatball Banh Mi. Thought both were great. The chocolate chip cookie was OK. They had a large variety of beers on tap. Be sure to visit their sister pasta restaurant next-door Grassa.
Delicious unique flavors. Fries were great. I had the Pho-rench dip which was fantastic. And my wife had the meatball Banh MI. It was very fresh tasting and excellently made. Couldn't have been happier.
The sandwiches are really flavorful; the meat is really well cooked and the bread is delicious. The sauces compliment the meat amazingly.
