Creme Brulee latte was phenomenal with a sweet crunchy top and a hint of salt. We'll be back to try more things!
Cute little hole in the wall. I go often because they have some really neat, tasty offerings! I like the ginger coffee and ube sweet cream, though I'm not familiar enough with either to speak to the greater quality. Service is usually quite quick! And as mentioned, there's a wide variety of different drinks than you'd see at the typical coffee shop. But,For some reason the baristas are frequently really short with me - I have no idea why. They give the impression of an inclusive shop, but between that and the fact that baristas don't wear masks even during spikes, well, it puts me off the place. Your mileage may vary - I think I'll finish out my punch card and go elsewhere.
Ordered online - it said my coffee would be ready immediately so I walked in about 5 or 10 mins later and they said it wasn't ready.Totally understandable except they acted like I was being impatient...?I waited 5 mins and went back in again... not ready.Came back 10 mins later and grabbed my tepid coffee. Not good drinks, obviously.Basically I ordered online and it said it was ready but it wasn't ready for about 20 mins after that. Service was toxic. Also FYI dont get anything in the pastry display. Everything in there tastes kinda like rancid "Everything" seasoning since they don't clean it properly.Blueberry onion sesame muffins ?
Cute little coffee shop. Would be great to have this place in the neighborhood.
ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! The first time I had Indonesian coffee was in Indonesia - and I fell in love with the flavors of spicy ginger in my espresso. Every time I'm in town I'll stop in for one. Wonderful people and good service.
A refreshing experience in the coffee capital. The unique flavors in their specialty drinks and the Asian-sourced beans make for a special time.
Kopi coffee thinks themselves precious but sadly they are not. While waiting to be seated at the screen door for breakfast we decided to indulge ourselves with a starter coffee, could not have been more disappointed. After announcing that we could not get an espresso beverage because their machine was being serviced they offfered us a pour over that was mediocre at best and then acted as though they were doing us a favor by doing their jobs. Two sips of their coffee and it was in the waste bin outside their establishment. I have never been treated so smugly and never felt such a distaste for a business as to throw away an entire cup of coffee until this morning. The only thing more unpleasant than the coffee was the preciousness they viewed themselves with. I work hard for my money…They will never see another dime of mine.
# Jan 30, 2022 at 10:39 AM Oh please. I’ve never (and I mean NEVER) had a more arrogant experience in ANY coffee bar. Even here in portland where I’ve lived for 15 years. PLEASE. GET OVER YOURSELVES. Entitled help. Rude service. Service with a tight lipped smile. Go to I Heart Coffee if you need a cup while waiting for Screen Door tables. Seriously. Rude.
Can't believe I haven't rated this place. My go to spot for beans (roasted every week) and the drinks we get from here are unlike any other coffee drink I've ever had.
Wow, horrible service today at KOPI. I walked up to the register to order and the attendant asked if ok i wait for a bit before ordering due to the orders that had been ordered before. Seemed busy enough. Sure no problem i said, I come back to order few minutes later and she now insists asking if i can go back of the line. Are you serious? You just asked me to kindly wait, which I complied as a patient customer and now tell me to go back of the line and have the audacity to try make me feel bad for coming back to line? The most clueless person that i have ever been serviced by at a coffee bar. Not going back or pray that she is fired soon.
