On our Pacific northwest holiday. Hotel booked by our travel agent. In the main, a very good experience. On this holiday, we'd also stayed 3 nights at the Seattle Kimpton Vintage. The Portland hotel was different, better in some ways. Well-located on Broadway. Valet parking for a fee. 2 adults, 2 teens, 2 rooms. Adults were booked into a Queen deluxe on the 8th floor. Nice room, clean. Rather odd that this room had no window, just a skylight, so no view. The teens had a double Queen room on the 6th floor which was bigger than ours & with a window overlooking Broadway. I preferred their room to ours! Rooms were clean, well-appointed & with complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Coffee available in the reception area from 6.30am. No tea! When I asked for tea on the 1st morning, the receptionist searched through a cupboard & offered me a green tea bag. I'm a Brit, not too difficult to have some English Breakfast teabags on hand methinks? What makes this hotel is the public space & the bar. Lovely, funky reception area, bar on the ground floor, & games area on the 1st floor. My husband & I had a couple of pool tournaments between ourselves. The bar tenders, RJ & Ray, are exceptional in their craft. RJ in particular made an effort to introduce himself on our 1st night, learned our names. He will go far with his attention to detail, outstanding customer service, a really smashing chap. If I visited Portland again, I'd be more than happy to revisit the Kimpton Vintage.

Planned our road trip with our travel agent Trailfinders. Saved like crazy through two years of covid so everything was paid in advance flights hire car and hotels, the night of our arrival we were given a room that wasn’t described. I asked for a room change which was given. The next day we found that we had been charged £203.00 for our one night stay, we accept that £15.00 was for two drinks. But not paying again for a room that we paid for in advance through our travel agent. Since this time five days ago a telephone conversation and two e-mails we are STILL waiting for a refund My advice to you dear traveller DONT stay at this hotel!!!!

Quick trip to Portland and stayed at the Vintage. We were allowed to check in early and our room was great - super clean and comfy. We loved the hotel aesthetic with the interior atrium/courtyard and game level. Ray and RJ at the bar are friendly, welcoming and make killer cocktails. Meghan at the Front Desk was there the bulk of the time we were (god bless her) and was so sweet and T at the door was great as well! We will def be back!

The lobby looks great and the room was ok. Location is good for the most part, but all the best restaurants are across the river. However, Ray at the bar is a master. Spend some time with him and admire his cocktail making skills and amazing storytelling. He is an expert on all things Portland. A true hidden gem. I don’t know if I’ll stay here again, but I will certainly stop in to have a few drinks with Ray.

The bacchus bar is great. RJ is sociable, efficient, and a great mixologist. He takes the bar and the whole hotel to another level. Like any cocktail bar, it is all about the experience and RJ carries the atmosphere. He works with the customers and helps you with drinks.

Came to Portland on a personal trip. Received great service from Ava at the front desk (helped us figure out wineries for a day trip) and RJ at the bar (helping us relax after a busy day of sightseeing). Hotel was clean and valet was quick.

The hotel lobby is phenomenal…and the craft cocktail bar is the place to be. RJ is the best. He not only knows how to make the craft cocktails on the menu but enjoys being creative with his craft. Delicious cocktails with great service…the best combination. Well done, RJ. We will be back.

Needed to stay for more than a week while repairs were made on my home. I couldn’t have picked a more welcoming place to stay, Megan went far out of her way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable. Ava was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I can’t recommend this hotel more if you are looking for someplace close to downtown PDX.

Great experience from check in. Megan was a superstar got me checking in super fast and in my room with zero issues. They brought amenities when asked (toothpaste and shaving cream) and even had my Amazon package deliver to my room. Great customer service and a cool happy hour/social hour everyday.

Awesome spot, will be back
