This food cart is delicious! Their bulgogi is my favorite and so tasty. This is a must try food cart to check out in Portland! You will not be disappointed!
Kim Jong Grillin' catered our wedding back in 2018. They drove out of their way to do so, and fed many people who had never even tried Korean food before this. It was a huge hit and people still bring up the food! They had great communication and worked with us. I would highly recommend.
The food has always been excellent. No complaints. I have ordered and supported this establishment for years. Until today, I was disappointed and discouraged. There is a mandatory 15% gratuity charged for take out for orders $50 or more, only disclosed at checkout. The employee told me his boss said to automatically charge the gratuity and it was something new. I understand the need to tip and I fully support it. I don’t like that my choice was taken away and I am forced to tip for take out. There were no signs posted for the change in billing; therefore, misleading and fradulent. Beware! Very disappointed in my experience today.
One of the places I miss most about not living in Portland any more and the place I am constantly coming back to when I come in to town. Everything is so delicious. Love the new sausage menu items.
Idk if it was a fluke or not, but the Bibim box I got had no sauce, no egg, over half was flavorless rice, and 2 dollars more than the online menu said. Called and asked what happened and the employees don't seem to care, not that I can blame them since they're likely paid garbage like most in that industry, but on the other hand, it can't be that hard to get this order right or for the owner to change the prices on their website. Just eating this right now thinking, "Korean McDonalds."
Food is very well made and delicious. Can't wait to go back!
The kimchi fried rice and bulgogi were fantastic! Highly recommend this place.
My husband an I are foodies from Spokane and have been wanting to eat here for quite awhile. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. We tried the Bulgolgi, Japache, and spicy pork Bibimbop. Loved every single bite, especially the Kimchee. Highly recommend.
Update 7/2021: I’ve gotta update to say the last handful of times I’ve gone here, the bulgogi meat has been top-notch. No more chewy bits, at least not for me. 10/10 stars!Original review from 2018: I would give it 9 stars if I could. Only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 is that sometimes the bulgogi is not nice and meaty (fatty/sinewy/chewy), but I am picky about my meat. Otherwise I crave this stuff when I am away from home and it makes me want to leave the deep suburbs and move in closer to the city so Postmates can deliver to me daily. Love the original take on adding japchae (perfectly grilled to be crispy) to a classic bibimbap bowl. Delicious.
Cool and popular food cart on Division. Food was great and in generous portions. Would be nice to have the rice stir fried with the meat / sauce (just my opinion - probably not the correct way). Service was also outstanding.
