Outstanding Ramen bowl and delicious taco! They scared me off from getting the "Super hot" ramen and only the Hot. It did have some kick and made my nose run. But next time gotta go Super Hot.

A good ramen place, with limited options. Their mala garlic friend rice was excellent too.

We had the Shoyu and Miso ramen (both with pork), as well as potstickers, sake and the plain basque cheesecake. Everything was delicious and filling without being too rich.

Best ramen in Portland. Fantastic menu with a full spectrum of vegetarian options as well. Service was playful and attentive.

The best food I’ve ever eaten. Great service. I used to live in Portland and often think about booking a flight back just for Kayo’s MaLa ramen.

Ramen was tasty. Tried both the Tan Tan and Mala. Loved the noodles, perfectly made. The broths were good, on the better side for our personal taste, but nothing special. Have a nice outside area with heatlamps above. Service was okay, couldn't really understand our waiter with strong Mexican accent, but was friendly.

Staff are not friendly, boarder line rude.We had a group of three, it was raining, so while one went to grab us a table while two scavenged for parking because they do not have a parking lot of reserved spots the kid at the door refused to seat our one friend at a table until all three of us were present.Simply for the poor service I would never return here. We had to get up and find a staff member to ask for saki. The man barely responded. We had to ask again sooo can we get it somewhere ourselves Finally he said he would bring it to the table. The ramen was okay not great. The warm saki was served in an aluminum tin that clearly will not keep the Saki warm … why would I pay for warm saki and then end up with cold saki two minutes later??Much better ramen places in Portland downtown. The Garlic pineapple rice was really good.Kale potstickers were also better than I thought they would be.

Loved the spicy tan tan ramen and had a beautiful purple cocktail too! (Murasaki, I believe)

Our absolute favorite restaurant in town! The tan tan ramen is amazing and I highly recommend it. Plus the kale potstickers, yum! Food comes out super quick and service is always great.

Delicious ramen! We appreciated the patio seating with flame heaters. Don’t miss the tacos either.
