Went here after lunch across the street and read something on the outside about this place behind a pirate bar. Ive always had a pirate fetish, so i galloped in looking for some hottie with a peg leg or even a simple eye patch? Don't come here expecting a one nighter wit a man and his bird, that's not happening, but they do have a couple of nice female bartenders (Sarah was great). Plus it's fun to get drunk and play offensive music from your phone. ?
Always a great time here. Sad to hear it's going away. Sounds like summer '22 is the last opportunity to enjoy. Thanks for the good times!
King of kings and dive of dives. This OG Portland relic has survived and thrived thanks to it's unending sports fanatics and Blazers fans. The elder males love to hold court, but don't let them turn you away. Drinks are strong and the TVs are always on.
Be cool if there was more beer variety on tap but its a great hangout spot with good food
As far as dive bars go, this one is a good one. Looks very sketchy from the outside, but don't let it scare you away.

Don’t go to JR. I live by here and have really tried to make this a spot to have a drink but the bar tenders and patrons have been horrible. Bad people, bad lighting, bad staff, bad food. If you are boring I guess you can go there for a game but there are so many other places… so why would anyone. Booooooooooooo! I wish I could give the place zero stars

Great Bartender. No Food. Microwave Hot Dogs are not food. Was known for great food.
The best kind of dive bar. Lots of regulars (Hi LB and Nick!) but new customers will feel welcome. Friendly bartenders who see the best and worse but always keep a sincere smile and make awesome drinks. Plus lots screens with lots of football if you're a fan. I'll be returning and you should check it out!
