WOW. I’m usually not a huge fan of chicken sandwiches but my boyfriend and I stopped for lunch on our way out of Portland today and I had the *best* chicken sandwich of my life. Also I love pickles and they don’t skimp on the pickles here!I got the Southern Fried Chicken sandwich and he got the Chicken Bacon Ranch I believe. That jojo sauce on the Southern sandwich is unreal! We’ll definitely be back ❤️
Well they certainly live up to their name and it was well worth the wait.We had seen Jojo pop up in a number of articles and finally had a chance to check it out.Located in a food cart garden off of Powell, you've got your hands full with options and likely can't go wrong. We decided on Jojo and we were very pleased with our choice.We went with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a side of Jojos with homemade ranch and Jojo sauce.The sandwich packed a punch with the pepper relish and the chicken was nice and crispy. The stars of the show were hands down the Jojos. Never had anything like them. Seasoned to perfection with the right crunch on the outside while perfect potato on the inside. Heaven in a fry form!!Definitely recommend checking em out. We will be back!!
Absolutely delicious spot for lunch! We came here around 3pm and there was no line. Food came out in less than 10 min. In addition to their tasty chicken sandwiches and fries they had a wedge salad that was fabulous. The owner also makes the funniest Instagram posts which was part of what drew us in. There is plenty of outdoor seating around that’s covered and shaded. Would absolutely recommend and return!
Even with no line out front, the wait for food can be well over an hour
This place did not disappoint!!!!! That pepper relish is spicy AF so beware ! Jojo's we're crispy seasoned and fresh! I recommend them?
Really really delicious chicken. The sauces are super yummy and the Fries are to die for. Wouldn’t splurge for the desserts, though. They were not very flavorful.
JoJo’s have the best wedges,good cheeseburger,going to get the spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich next trip.
Delicious every single time. I had one of the specials today and it was glorious perfection. Pimento cheese and Mama Lils peppers are a match made in Heaven. Bring a moist towelette!Parking, covered seating and a fabulous beer selection at this cart pod.
Really great food definitely worth the price! My only negative is the guy working here told me the spicy chicken is really spicy like a 9/10 but really it was not even spicy at all. Other than that it was great and I’ll be back
Came here because I overheard someone say it was the best chicken sandwich in Portland. And so far.... I would have to agree. So hard to find a southern fried chicken sandwich here and Jojo's nails it.
