Went here after my engagement and back for our anniversary. It was delicious every time. Highly recommend the chicken penne.
We had a Crab Louie Salad and Salmon Mushroom Fetticini. Both were quite good. The service was excellent and we were very impressed to see a full non-alcoholic menu of cocktails. More of this!!
Very good service and pretty good food. Love the âold schoolâ ambience and our waitress was a proâwith Jakeâs for 35 years! Mentioned several celebrities (Madonna, John Travolta, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw) who had eaten there. My oysters were a little underdone and potatoes had been reheated. Wifeâs fish was excellent. Butter with the bread tasted funny. Prices were in the 40s and 50s per plate. Happy hour specials not available in the dining room. Might not go again myself but would recommend for the experience with these cautions.
It had been several years since the last time we were in Portland. I was happy to see that the dining experience was still great. Our waiter was awesome. The food was great. I look forward to our next chance to go.
We had a wonderful dinner as usual!! I love the music.....big band era. We will continue coming to Jakes for fresh seafood.
My experience at Jake's is alway a good. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. I go to Jake's at least twice a month and haven't been disappointed yet.
Best oysters weâve ever eaten!
Our service was terrible. Our food came out 40 minutes after the kids and other surrounding tables were served. The server disappeared and acted like we were a nuisance to her.
