I ordered the Buttermilk chicken tenders from Ja’Das at Park the Carts on MLK, and man was the food amazing. I’ve been craving that southern comfort food and this definitely hit the spot. The chicken was crispy and juicy and hot, the fries crinkle cut fries to a golden crisp, and the yams hot sweet and delicious 10/10. Making this my regular go to lunch spot when I’m in PDX.

Delicious food with fun & friendly customer service. Catfish po'boy was so large I had to eat some of the fillings with a fork before I could even pick it up; lemon pepper chicken tenders, mac & cheese, and fries got great reviews from the rest of my party. Will definitely be back soon.

Chicken tenders were great! Perfectly seasoned. Collard greens some of the better I've had in Portland. Service was timely and the order correct. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Omg the food was delicious ? the catfish was seasoned & cooked to perfection ‼️ The mac & cheese & greens were pretty tasty as well. I can’t forget about the sweet potato pie ? ???

Best ponies I ever ate it tasted amazing

I was hankering for some greens. Traveled one way from Gresham to get there. Worth the distance and wait. Also had the shrimp dirty Mac. Excellent!

Oh man! As a former Marylander, I have an inner beast that loves soul food. I can eat piles of collards and well cooked fried delights. Ja’Das has put a large toothy smile on that beast today. The fried basa, perfectly breaded with well seasoned cornmeal, was juicy and popped with fresh, beautiful deliciousness. The collards were so tender with the vinegar and bacon neither dominating, but adding their perfect harmonies within. Dat mac and cheese doe. Mang, this was some straight fire. My favorite part is how well everything was seasoned. Since i was a new custy, they rang their bell. I didn’t know that was a precursor to my bell getting culinarily rung. They get a line going often, so be prepared to wait a few mins. Well worth it.

The catfish was delicious. I came at the end of the day and they had sold out of some things. I got a catfish dinner with Mac n cheese. She said I should try it before I left but you can not eat catfish straight out of the grease. Before I could get away, and I was parked down the street and around the corner, she came running to find me to make sure I got the greens. Unfortunately I did not order the greens as I do not eat land animals. But I was so impressed that she cared enough to chase me down to bring them to me. Great food. I loved it.

Wow. Eating the fried chicken po boy was a religious experience. Mac and cheese was amazing too.

Great service very professional. Fish was fresh and sides were hot. Nice place to go out on a date. Chill atmosphere with plenty of laughs. I would definitely go back again.
