Needed some drinks and some hot food and this fit the bill. Located in the Hilton downtown so very convenient to drink and stumble upstairs. Overall it was ok and satisfied the need. Bartender was working hard and I appreciated his management of the bar and food area. Check it out while staying at Hilton.

Avoid this place. Expensive for frozen pizza (with chunks of tomato), and paper plates. Consider visiting the local food trucks nearby. Bartender service was good.

I feel like the food was frozen, definitely had a stomach ache afterwards. Pricing is decent but food quality is sub par (little to no seasoning, chewy steak, serving food on paper plates, etc.)

Missed breakfast.i will return at another time.great people.

Was a quiet-ish spot when I went about 1930 to meetup with a friend. We sat at a nice comfy couch and had tea, drinks and some Jacobesen Co. Salted Caramels. Their cafe area had some basics like beer and wine and snacks, some toiletries. They had a bar and pizza there as well, my husband had a Negroni. I got the Masala Chai and will be getting my coffee from them tomorrow morning; it's across the street from the Dunaway hotel where I'm staying. Location is nice and easy to get around PDX from.

We were in downtown for a concert and wanted to get dinner before. It was hard to find a spot that was open late. But the reviews for Hop City Tavern looked good and the food looked really yummy. I know that there is a staffing shortage but this place was a real disappointment. This sandwich that you see in the picture (yes pretty plain looking) was $17 and didn’t come with a side. Just a $17 plain sandwich. We ordered a side salad for $13 and it look and tasted like something you could get out of a plastic bag. And it all came on paper plates. I know we’re in a rough time with employment but I wanted customers to know at least what quality to expect when they went in because the online reviews were very misleading.

Terrible. $20 for a bad caesar salad on a paper plate with plastic utensils. No table service-more like a cafeteria with very little to choose from.

HopCity Tavern + Market is connected directly to the Hilton Portland Downtown. You can access it via the hotel or from the street. This is such a great space to grab something to drink and eat. The space is warmly decorated with plenty of seats to work by yourself or gather with friends. The staff was very friendly and willing to help.I ordered an Americano, which I enjoyed.

Restaurant inside the Hilton Portland downtown, just opened back up (from Covid closure) a few weeks before we were there. Staff very accommodating and kind. Very grateful that 10-15- year-old employees came back to work despite the Pandemic, and were there to serve us! We were at same hotel for 3 nights and ate breakfast and dinner here almost daily. The staff knew who we were and talked with us, and we felt like family. Food items (omelet for breakfast, various items for dinner) were prepared the way we liked it. Thank you for your kindness, Matt and Carla and Chefs!

Very filling. The staff was friendly and observant.
