Lively family spot, I had the breakfast sammy, the jalapeno jelly added a perfect foil to the fried chicken, egg and biscuit. My companions had a burger and the breakfast bowl. The bowl's egg was way over poached, sadly, really it was too the hard boiled state. The burger was good, but looked a little alone on it's largish plate. Tots were perfect, the ranch is spot on. Spicy cabbage salad sounded great but was not as exciting as it sounded. Still tasty though. Service was fine, friendly and quick. I'd go back.

Holler might be among the best fried chicken sandwiches in Portland. It has been a delicious, fun, and convenient destination for us. We’ve frequented here throughout the pandemic for take out and continue to keep them in our rotation of restaurants. We love them for their outstanding Gluten Free fried chicken sandwiches, and the tots. They’re so good I kind of stopped searching for GF of the same kind. Also, the homemade pickles and spread are a big win as well. I normally get the regular vs spicy, but my wife and bro-in-law really like the spicy bc it’s got some notable heat to it.The service is always great, the food is very reasonably priced and generously portioned. It’s definitely worth a visit.

What a great idea for a restaurant. This place has it all. Ski ball and video games for the kids, regular restaurant, like an ice cream and novelties shop, and a sports bar with big screen TVs for the big kids, all in the same place. Really novel cool idea. We just decided to check it out on a whim and we're very pleasantly surprised. All that being said, the food was like 80% good. That's the only reason I'm only giving it four stars. I had wished that my burger had something other than meat meat cheese and the fried pickles. It's a great concept, but I could have used something else, some kind of, you know, condiments... even as an option on the side, lettuce and tomato, that would have made it something other than a meat patty sandwich. I felt the same way about me on my fiance's chicken sandwich, on the verge of greatness, but not amazing. Again, that being said, I don't think it was stop us from going back. It's a cool concept and a great location. Do recommend!

We were going to take a large group down to eat, drink and watch games. Then we saw they are nazis and demand you show papers to enter. Yeah no thanks we will spend our money anywhere else. Please actually do your research on the scam you are being a part of. 92% of the Covid deaths in the UK were fully vaccinated. Wake up!

Legit fried chicken, really good. Also good burgers, meat loaf, tots, and roast veg. I've had better corn bread. Fair beer selection. Friendly, efficient server. Clean tables and space.

Nice diversity of beer, cocktails, Happy Hour menu, food and brunch - an easy place to bring a group with diverse needs and wants with drinks and food. TVs visible from every seat in the bar area too.

Every aspect was completely underwhelming. We came in with over an hour before closing and asked if it's too late to order and we're assured no it's fine. With that said, we were served the refried/reheated chicken from cooked chicken in pans within view of the customer. It's not Alberta Street Market, it's not Reel em in Tavern, it's not Holler, hell it's not Popeyes. If you recognize any of those restaurants in my opinion you'll be disappointed. Additionally, The alcohol slushi was sub par. There is no table service which is fine... Unless you're paying for premium fried chicken.

Previously I had written, "Don't expect them to be open on time."I withdraw my harsh comment. I was impatient and had my mouth all set for their delicious breakfast sando and momentarily forgot we are in the middle of a pandemic. Also I was annoyed that after waiting outside the door for 15 minutes and even making eye contact with one of the employees, no one came out to let me know they were having trouble opening that day. I understand though. It's hard to open when you are short staffed. So I'm changing my review to five stars. Holler is a great new addition to our neighborhood and I love going there. The chicken is awesome and the breakfast sando can't be beat.

Fried deliciousness... Awesome environment... Sports great classic tunes

Since Doug has departed, they may want to change the name, quality and value is not there like it was.
