Bagels are one of my favorite foods and I’ve had a million different bagels in NYC, some good, some bad, some incredible. My bagel from Henry’s was kinda just “meh”. It got the job done but wasn’t necessarily good enough to really enjoy or want to go back. Honestly, it didn’t taste very fresh to me! However, giving 3 stars because they knocked the tofu cream cheese out of the park!

Great staff, friendly service. This place is usually excellent but on my past two visits, the garlic topping on the bagel gets completely burnt in the toasting process which makes the taste pretty unenjoyable. I would recommend this place but might suggest going just with a plain bagel.

REAL bagels!! Actually boiled, amazing, delicious. The Reuben is incredible, and the Lox bagel is excellent. Highly recommend stopping in text time you’re around Sellwood.

Love the bagels. Always enjoy a breakfast bagel sandwich on the way to "work."These days the ordering can be a bit confusing and frustrating. Totally reasonable to allow only one customer inside at a time, under the COVID circumstances, but it leaves all the customers waiting for orders and pickups milling around outside.I think just a sign indicating where to queue while waiting for your turn to enter would clear matters up a lot.

I love the bagels here! The Reuben is my favorite.

Delicious and quick

i Have come to this bagel shop for the past 3 weeks in a row, this first time it was awesome! The second time the employees didn’t great me or responded to me saying good morning! The third time being today actually, was the worst customer service I have gotten here! I always phone my food order I arrived a few minutes late and apologized to the employees and got no response from either one! I said good morning still no response all I was told was $7 dollars! I’m a restaurant manager and if my employees treated a customer the way I was treated they wouldn’t have a job! I won’t be coming back or recommending this bagel shop!

We ordered a baker's dozen and every bagel was hard and dry like they have been there for days. Given the ratings, they must have had an off day or something. We won't go back.

Honestly, I was very let down. People talk these bagels up, but they were just not great. Okay bagel.*Editing it due to the response from owner. Thank you! I am updating this to 4 stars because the customer service provided in the response completely makes sense and is appreciated. You are correct; it is a classic NY style bagel, which I might not have realized at first, and I have respect for that. I hope you continue to thrive in your style!

I got a few dozen various bagels, none with onion. All of them smelled of onion and the cinnamon raison bagels inedible because of the strong onion overtones.
