Delicious, authentic and homemade!Broths are savory, herbs are fresh, and flavors full and spicy if you like. Ask about their favorites and how to eat them—the owner/chef/waitress gave me tips and extra wraps (since I’m new to wrapping things in rice paper!) What a great meal!
One of the MOST underrated Vietnamese restaurants in Portland. Hanoi kitchen should be on any meaningful Portland food list. Not sure why they aren’t getting the press they deserve. The owner is incredibly passionate about the food they put out and you can taste the love in the food.Covid has heavily impacted the business and she has received no financial support from any of the Covid relief programs.Support this business and it’s wonderful food.
Always love this place. I never see many people at all here but this has always been one of my favorite places for pho. If you are looking fot a quiet place with dome good atmosphere and want to try something different, this place is amazing.
I had a wonderful experience here. Had the curry soup with noodles and chicken and it was flavorful, rich and delicious. Salad rolls were also excellent and the price was totally reasonable. Love it! Will definitely come back.
I can't say enough good things about Hanoi Kitchen. I'm glad they're back open for dine in. Fresh, delicious, Vietnamese food with a great friendly staff.

So sad to see them fall so far!Prior to covid Hanoi was my families favorite Banh Cuon location. Went by tonight and was absolutely appalled at the quality and service. For $12.50, I received 3 tiny rolls that weren't even 1/2 filled and the veggies were beyond wilted.I called the restaurant thinking this was a one off and the gentleman who answered the phone said, "that's what you get!" And hung up on me. I called back thinking we got disconnected and a lady answered and started yelling. So sad to see them fall so far
Delicious and delightful! My companion and I ordered the shrimp salad rolls as an app to share and both got the vegan pho for our meal. Both were wonderful, the vegan pho is a real standout. Huge bowl of deliciously flavored broth, plenty of noodles and lots of fresh veggies. I’m unfortunately not a big fan of mushrooms and while there were a couple in the soup it was easy to avoid them. Oh yeah and they also served us a great warming table tea. So comforting and exactly what we needed on a chilly Portland winter evening. There were so many great sounding things on the menu, I’ll definitely be back.
Large vegan/vegetarian menu, super nice people and great food. We ordered some Hanoi specialty food and 2 vegetarian dishes, had lots of extra to bring home. The place is full of live plants, some are currently blooming, which adds to the pleasantness. Parking around the corner in the neighborhood was easy to find. They got busier shortly after we came in, but we got our food at reasonable time m
