Been going here for a while since it is close to work. They messed my to go order up. Employee told me my next order would be free of charge. Go in today and the clerk said they don’t do that. When I tried explaining what happened and told him the employees name that promised a free meal, he got frustrated and continued we don’t do that. I paid full price but employee appeared aggravated by my request even still. Just shouted SIR SIR when my order was ready till I looked up, well the entire store was looking up at that point, and I grabbed my order and left. An order number would have be efficient. Bad customer service making customer feel uncomfortable requesting something that was promised to them a week ago. Driving a little further to try out Gyro 2 Go next time.
The chicken gyro and chicken shawarma gyro were very good with generous portions and for a good price. The lentil soup could use more flavor and I probably wouldn't get it again. But, I didn't come for the soup. I would definitely come again for the chicken gyros!
Found this place just by accident scrolling through the delivery apps and what a happy accident!! I had the chicken shawarma bowl and a mezze plate with Lebanese pita… both were delicious! The chicken was perfectly seasoned - rich and a little spicy, and the seasoned rice, roasted veggies, and tabouleh all mixed perfectly. This is definitely my new favorite lunch! The mezze plate was also good - very legit hummus and baba ganoush, and even though I got delivery the Lebanese pita was still warm and delicious when I got it. This was a lovely surprise that turned my mood around today!
I spent alot of time in the Middle East. This place has the best Shawarma in Portland. Prices are good Portions are good Service is Great!
This is a hidden gem. They serve some of the best Mediterranean food I have had. Amazing falafel, gyros, pita, baba ghanouj, makdous, baklava - the list goes on.
An amazing Mediterranean deli with awesome choices. The staff is extra kind to help you with your orders incase you don't understand the cuisine well. The place cannot be more authentic than this.Amazing options for vegetarians too. Ask the person on the counter to help you incase you don't know what to order.Ample seating area inside the restaurant. You check out the menu either on the wall or download it via QR and place an order at the cash counter. Food should ideally be ready in 10 mins.Must visit place!
I rarely do reviews, but today I ordered the Greek Gyro (Flatbread), the Veggie Mezza with Pita Bread and a side of Mix Cheese and Garlic Sauce Fries. Although we had these items delivered, they were still GREAT and FRESH! Cannot wait to visit this place in person and tell my friends about Gyro Fresh Mediterranean Grill!Sorry no pictures - the food was so amazing, it was gone in a blink!
