Amazing bowls, sweet inside and outside seating, lovely calm neighborhood.

I've not been here yet...but only because I've not known this place existed. I live near Seattle but I will make the trip to come here. 5 stars simply for theme and menu alone since The Princess Bride is one of my favorites.

I’m not sure why google has this place listed as a restaurant. It’s just a local coffee shop.I was in the neighborhood, and for what it is, it’s good but don’t go out of your way to get here. The good: tasty food & beveragesThe bad: they charge for ice & it took almost 20min to get a burrito.

I needed to grab lunch to-go and Guilder had been on my list to try for a while ‘cause it looks ~so cute~ online. My “Inconceivabowl” came out before my coffee, which leads me to believe it was packaged earlier that day or week. I was immediately disappointed at the sight of it. I’m convinced I could’ve picked something up at the grocery store deli for half the price. My expectations were not high but somehow this cold grocery store slop still missed them. In addition, the seasonal iced latte (“Miracle Pill”) was bland. If I ever find myself here again, perhaps if I am drugged and blindfolded, I will order differently.

As someone who is by NO MEANS a vegetarian, much less a vegan, I have to say this place is amazing! If you wouldn't have told me my breakfast burrito was vegan (yes I added egg) I wouldn't have even known. No, I'm not being converted from being a carnivore. The veggies were cooked perfectly, still had just enough crunch and they weren't mush. The ethically sourced coffee was stupendous! Knowledgeable baristas that had my espresso at the perfect temp, were super pleasurable to just chat with. Big time LGBTQIA+ friendly, feel free to ask for proper pronouns Gotta say, the Princess Bride references are what brought me here. The food and folks working here will bring me back. Some days I go to places like Fogo de Chao, other days I find awesome little gems like Guilder.

Was accused on social media of being anti-vax (because they require a vaccine to dine) in spite of our entire party being vaccinated and boosted and my comment deleted after an unfavorable review. Follow up comment on social media rn leaving it here - do not dine here with children!“My first comment didn’t mention and had nothing to do with vaccines. Our entire party was fully vaxxed and boosted, save the two year old your staff treated as a pariah. They were more friendly to the dogs other customers had with them, in spite of my child being well behaved even. Deleting the first comment was just icing on the cake. Absolutely do not recommend this cafe!”Cannot even address the food that took forever to receive for being unable to get past the sheer rudeness of the staff!!

Our stop at Guilder was surprisingly tasty. I expected to stop in for a cup of coffee, but ended up sitting down to an interesting roasted vegetable breakfast burrito. The ingredient ratio was unlike any other breakfast burrito I’ve eaten where the egg is the star of the dish, but I appreciated the extra veggies. The coffee was good and the chocolate almond scone was like a marriage of scone and glazed donut.

Beautiful little cafe with the nicest people and great food! My husband and I had lattes and I also ordered the vegetarian burrito - incredible!

Great coffee and fantastic service. It's places like this that I like to always go back to because the people are so nice and clearly take pride in what they do.

THE VEGAN BURRITO IS LIFE CHANGING. On the spicer side, which I think is perfect. I highly recommend ordering ahead of time as the line can get rather long. That being said the service is quick and the staff is wonderful! Cute upstairs seating too.
