This place is real breakfast. They really live up to the name because the gravy was insanely good. Everything looked amazing and fresh. Just to prepare you, the portions are big, we definitely filled a to go box. The scramble we got was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The place was busy but they still got us seated and our food in under 20 minutes. The staff was really efficient and everything was running really smoothly, especially for a rush time in a small building. As someone who worked in a restaurant, I can appreciate the efficiency. Shane was our server and did an amazing job. It was an amazing experience and will be back.
Service was fantastic! Had the broccoli, red pepper, garlic and cheddar scramble. Lots of fresh yummy broccoli! I had plenty leftover. Come hungry. Food is fresh. Service puts a smile on your face. No outdoor seating so we got it to go and sat on a neighboring restaurant’s picnic bench.
Sooooooo good!!! Got a scramble with Potatoes. Massive plate of food! My wife got a scramble with braised kale on the side for a lighter plate. Both were amazing. The staff was great and friendly. Would definitely go again!
The best breakfast I've ever had. I had the Bracato scramble and we all shared the sweet potato pancake, and the biscuits and gravy. My husband had the fried chicken with sausage gravy, eggs, and hashbrowns. Everything we had was freaking delicious, right down to the coffee. The coffee was so good, we brought home a bag. It was raining outside, the food was so comforting, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a rainy, Portland day. Definitely check this place out and make sure you come hungry!
One of the best brunches I've ever had. Service was excellent. Street parking available. Large portions. Pictured is corned beef hash with fruit. Place is popular and seems to get busy
the most amazing breakfast I have ever eaten! Friendly staff, delicious food!
First time in Portland and we had breakfast at this cute little spot. Both dishes were great! The chicken in my dish was AMAZING. I usually don’t get gravy anywhere I go, but this gravy was delicious. Only downside was the veggie patty, it was a bit dry but husband still enjoyed his dish. Would I visit again, definitely!
This place is a solid place for brunch and lunch. It can get pretty busy, especially during the weekends. We came here on a weekday and was able to get a seat right away. My friend had the Monte Cristo and I ordered the Country Fried Steak. The Monte Cristo was pretty big, enough to feed maybe 3 people. I tried some of it and it was good. I liked the size of the toast and texture of it. The Country Fried Steak was amazing! The gravy on top of it have it that extra flavor and definitely is a filling dish. The side of bacon was actually very crispy and broke down pretty easily, but was still good. Overall, a great meal.
Best food I have ever had!!!!
WOW! Best breakfast we've had in Portland and frankly topping breakfast choices we've had worldwide. This place is packed on weekends so plan accordingly. We came back on a Monday and slid right into our table. Tables are spaced so you don't feel crammed. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The menu, people, the problem will be picking. Everything we ordered was on point beyond our expectations. Hashbrowns perfectly crispy (upon request). Challah french toast had perfect texture and density. Dalise Scramble had a masterful combo of spiced meats and the gravy, I could drink it. Only way to improve, warm the butter. Gravy will be our go-to breakfast destination.
