Oh, Man, he is GOOD. Chicken wings, Mac and cheese. Slaw. You'd think that was pretty ordinary. But this guy gets it. He has the touch with the seasoning. The wings had a flavor between jerk and barbecue. The Mac was subtly flavored, unusual and delicious. The slaw was crisp and pickled but not sour. Bright. Definitely coming back
I've had many Mac n' Cheeses, Gourmet Brothers so at the top of a long list.

Could not get them to answer the phone. Have tried several times to make an order. They have a catering business so the cart has off hours. They texted back that they were busy and working. Sent a few text messages to make an order. No response was forced to make an order with Matt’s Bbq’s much easier to place an order with Matt’s. If the owner reads this I suggest coming up with a way to allow your potential customers to place an order besides driving to your cart and taking a chance u are not there. I had your bbq before covid and it was good disappointing to have to go to your competition.

I don't want to leave a review on the BBQ part of his business cause I'm sure that it's good but I've never tried it. I did however try a hot dog from the hot dog and cheesesteak cart. They don't have kraut for some reason which was very odd. I got the basic hot dog with pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard. The hot dog itself was nothing special and there were only a couple of onions and pickles. I would rate this place as a 1 star because the lady was not very nice either. But, I've seen the owner of this bbq joint and he seems like a really nice and passionate dude. I wouldn't want to give his BBQ a bad review based on the hot dog I had from his other cart.TLDR; His BBQ is probably fire, but hot dogs were not it.
The best barbeque I've had in Portland. I got the rib meal with Mac and cheese and collard greens plus this amazing strawberry lemonade cake, and I couldn't finish it. The portion sizes are generous, the ribs fall off the bone, and the sauce is just perfect.

Mac and cheese was good stuff. My wife tried crabmeat mac with shrimp - it was a bit fishy for her taste. I had the brisket Mac. The brisket was a bit dry but overall it was good.Tried pull pork too. That was very yummy. My favorite though was the potatoe salad - very solid ?
