We got a delicious meal for an inexpensive price. I got the four choices with rice and bread, and chose four vegetarian things. They were all really tasty, though there was one with red sauce that was really HOT. There was so much food that I couldn’t finish it, and it kept me so full I skipped dinner.
You can be rest assured and get your cravings settled! I drove by yesterday on my way to work and saw that they're reopened. I called to make sure. Sure enough, they are! The guy must've right I was a banshee the way I squealed! Enjoy Ghandi's once more, friends!
If you’re looking for a top notch Indian cuisine you’ve come to the right place, everything about it was top notch including the service. Lamb madras was an excellent spice which got the blood pumping. Can confirm will go again. EH2
Hope they come came back soon. Can't find anything even close to it in Portland. Spicy Vindaloo, creamy spinach, potato curry, all for a cheap price.
I miss this place so much! Always delicious food!! The man that owns it used to be a small cart in a multi restaurant location...he always remembered our order with such joy. I crave this food and drive by randomly just to see if they are open again.
The worst part about not working downtown anymore is not being able to eat Gandhi’s 3 to 4 times a week. While my waistline thanks me, my cravings grow daily. This is better Indian food than in India, seriously the Saag and Chicken Tikka Masala must have some super strong addictive ingredient.
