I am such a fan of Futura. Their coffee is so good it can be drank black, which we do. Great staff, too.
This newly remodeled coffee shop has all the good vibes. Light, bright, good background music, and cool plants. Food options are a bit limited, but since it's not a restaurant, I can understand. The coffee is great and the staff were even better.
I’m not sure if it’s the coffee or the roast that definitely tastes odd but I asked the barista if we could add an extra shot of expresso to see if maybe the milk was overpowering the taste but she was so rude. I paid for the extra shot of course but she was really annoyed. I will not be coming back to the coffee shop.
Really, really slow. One person taking orders and making the coffee. Another person doing food orders.The coffee was okay. I wasn't blown away by my single origin cup.They have homemade syrups, but you have to ask because they are not posted anywhere.It didn't seem like a place to relax and enjoy a cup. Everyone in there was talking really loudly and the acoustics weren't great.Maybe it just wasn't my kind of place. There is one outdoor table with two benches.
This place is a cute coffee shop with some pastries and very limited menu. Don't be fooled by the prior reviews, there are no egg bagel or pizza options. They have a bowl and a lox bagel that you can order, coffee us really good. Overall a nice coffee shop but doesn't have the robust menu advertised by the prior reviews
Great Cafe with superb coffee and good food. I got a almond milk latte with a house made spiced flavoring. It was Delicious! Skilled and friendly staff.
This place has everything you can ask for in a coffee shop and more. From the aesthetics and atmosphere, the friendly workers, the extensive menu, and one of best quality pour overs I’ve had in Portland. Thanks for the experience. my wife and I will be back again soon. Cheers!
I've worked in food service for a decade, and I know the taste of sour dairy; my breve mocha had that undeniable cheese/yogurt aftertaste of half-n-half that has sat too long, or steam wands that haven't been flushed in a while. The cocoa mix was on point, wish the dairy was too.
Amazing quality! Best I’ve gotten in years
The coffee at Futura is not very good and the prices are outrageous. It is no longer Fillmore, so the ratings here are really bogus. Different owners, different coffee. They are nice enough and the atmosphere okay, but I paid $11 for a plain croissant and a latte. That's crazy.
