Why can't I give 10 stars?! Seriously, Fressen deserves it! Whenever I hit the farmers market at PSU I make an absolute beeline for them. I need my pretzel rolls! They are the best ever! I've never been to the actual café, but I can only imagine that it will be just as awesome as the space they have at the market. Looking forward to trying more items (but my heart will always belong to the pretzel rolls, lol!). You will not be disappointed with this small business whatsoever! Do not walk, RUN to Fressen and get your fill on some mouth-watering baked goods for sure!

Delicious pastries! What a wonderful way to break our fast, brunch style!?☕

Great spot for coffee and breakfast. Good selection of bread and pastries.

One of the best bakeries in Portland serving a greatselection of German pastries and breads. You will find a good selectionof pasteries, cakes and breadswith a variety of drinks. It was hard to select a few items and I picked a Danish,Nutella swirl, Franzbrot (cinnamon roll) and twosalted pretzels. The Danish and the NutellaSwirl were light and flakyand not really sweet. The Franzbrot, a GermanCinnamon Roll, had goodtaste and was not too sweet. The pretzels taste betterwhen you warm them up.A brunch menu includesquiche, toasts, bagel andpretzel sandwiches.Parking is limited to theside streets.Located on NE Glisan and71st street.Credit cards are accepted.A great place to find Germanpastries, cakes, and breads with friendly service and a brunch menu.

Had the ham bagette. Wonderful! Next will be their salami bagette. I also got a loaf of their rye. Best bread I have found in the area yet. Can't wait to get some more. I just wish their hours where better for me as I work nights and am asleep usually when they are open.

Such a wonderful cafe/bakery. Be sure to eat and drink there often!

Just ate here with my family loved the pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. We had Bagel sandwiches and the ham seed sandwich, both were great. We were there ate closing and they gave us some pastries to go,it was the highlight for the kids.

Cute Coffee place open on Thanksgiving. They bake fresh bread and have their own spicy Portland peanut butter. Delicious ?

I haven't been out for coffee in a long time (Covid, yo). My friend recommended we meet at Fressen. Most people were sitting in the outdoor area, but we opted for the inside. We both had a treat and a coffee. Delicious! The staff was friendly and everything was sparkling clean. Looking forward to returning to try a pretzel!

I've done a lot of international traveling and living abroad and love the taste of authentic German food of any kind. So, when I stumbled upon Fressen via a Google search one day, I had to try it out. I'm so glad I found this bakery/cafe! The staff was kind & the food was delicious! I snagged a couple pretzels and a (golden milk) turmeric tea/latte. Everything was delicious and there were so many other amazing looking items that I can't wait to come back and try!
