Haven't been here in yrs..BUT I must say I will for sure be back soon. I had the BEST hand dipped corn dog and side of onion rings. And as if it couldn't get any better the root beer float was the best float..I was surprised how fast it took to get out food being as it's fresh..I was also pleased by the vegan options they had.. def worth the stop..
I've been coming here for years for their franks. I love them all. Today I decided to try their onion rings. Where have I been?! Why did I not know about these?! Definitely the best I've had and HUGE portion! Here's a photo after I already gobbled most of the fries.
GREAT for gluten free! This place does it right. They gently warmed the gf bun so it wasn’t bone dry, loaded the dog with all the Chicago goods and then acknowledged the reality of gf buns and sent me my order with a fork. This was the best frank I’ve had. Thank you <3 I’ll come back for gf corn dogs
don’t play yourself with the tofu dog! get any vegan sausage one - Chicago style with seasoned fries :-) 10/10 hits the spot for some vegan comfort food! and i love supporting a small business!
it really makes me sad to say that this was a big disappointment. Been curious about this place for a long time and every single thing i ordered was a let down. The shake was basically just very cold milk, no substance or ice creaminess to it at all. the fries were soggy and over seasoned. the Chicago dog had such an intense amount of celery salt it was basically inedible. the corn dog coating was more like a pancake and was so soggy my partner couldn’t eat it and she is a corn dog mega fan. the person working was super speedy which would have been impressive if the food was actually good. the dogs themselves were juicy and i’ve heard amazing things about their corn dogs so maybe i just caught them on an off day.
I was jonesing for a good dog. Went across the river and found the quintessential place. So yummy dogs and sausages and chili. Vegan dogs too. Totally satisfying! This is my dawg spot now!!
How can you say No to hand dipped corn dogs, gluten free options, hand cut fries, tatoe salad and a whole list of different dogs?!Franks-A-lot, my stomach says Thanks-A-Lot when we make a visit. Owner usually is running the show solo and is very personable. Support local, support small business!Pictured is a steamed polish topped with onion, relish, mustard and ketchup. Topped and wrapped to perfection! Make sure you get seasoned salt on your fires too
Perfect Chicago dog. I can't even find sport peppers at the grocery store in PDX. This place heaped them on, along with all the other fixings. Great junk food spot, glad they are down the street from my work.
Just moved to town , too good not to review. Try the gluten free hot dog you won’t be disappointed
Franks has a pretty tasty weiner if I must say so myself. Quick and easy. A great place to go on a way too short 30 minute lunch break. I can't wait to get into their more messy dogs.
