The nachos are loaded with jackfruit, queso blanco, beans, salsa, onions, jalapeño crema, jalapeños, and radishes. Very tasty and a huge portion for the price. I keep going back for these! We also tried the street tacos and wedge salad. I feel like those items were a little pricey for the portions in comparison to the nachos, but were still tasty.
Unempathetic staff/ "bouncers". Good luck if there's a line to get in and you need to use the restroom. While I was waiting in a line that formed outside of the door I was holding my bladder. Over 20 minutes had passed. I couldn't wait any longer so I went inside and looked for the bathroom. As soon as I walked in I was bombarded by a man who proceeded to yell in my face telling me that I was not welcome to use the restroom and that I had "skipped the line" his words, not mine. The velocity of his voice directly in my face scared me enough to step back outside to my "friend" group. I proceeded to call and uber and head back home. Being bit trauma informed and handling people with care is completely free yet this bar does not have the skill to do so.
Adorable bar with a live DJ, photobooth, and delicious, unique drinks. Cocktails are a bit pricey, but pretty standard for this area and the atmosphere makes it worth it.
Not a huge fan of this venue. Visited a few times and the experiences were subpar but I’ll highlight the most recent.The way they operate the line doesn’t make much sense and they charge a cover based on whatever they feel that night. Stood in line for 1.75 hours (I wish I was exaggerating) only to walk into a relatively empty venue after paying a $15 cover. If we’re going to wait in line for that long, what is the point of a cover? While in the line, the bouncer was fairly rude and continued to antagonize people in front of us and behind us.Upon entering the bar, the bartender that I ordered a drink from had a horrible attitude. Ordered two low quality Moscow mules for $26 and realized I was overcharged when looking at my credit card statement 2 days later.Also, a friend of mine ordered a drink and it fell when the bartender handed it to him, she literally laughed in his face and walked away. Didn’t offer to help him clean it up, didn’t offer to make him a new drink. Completely unprofessional.Overall, I can’t recommend this place. The music is good but you can listen to good music on your phone.
Yum! Great cocktails and dinner was delish. Animal fries like In and Out Burger! Its been years since we could enjoy In and Out so this was fun to enjoy, kids loved it.
The food is all plant based and the cocktails are some of the best in town. This is a late night food spot for me. They do have a dj at certain times but the environment is split with a chill table side half and a more energetic side with a sitting area kind of like a patio but inside. The menu changes regularly as they are always trying new things. Safe and friendly environment for a night of drinks or dinner with friends.
I am surprised this place doesn’t have a five star rating. Our experience was great! The vegan menu is amazing, plant based papi offers a creative menu that can be loved by vegans or meat eaters. I was pleasantly surprised that Jewan Manuel (the chef) served us himself, and was incredibly kind! The bartenders were fast and drinks while a little pricey, were very good! The atmosphere is a vibe and they were playing 1970’s African jazz, which I thought was very cool.
The vibe of this spot is unreal. Seriously incredible food and vegetarian too!!! Absolutely loved Fortune and look forward to coming back again!!
I really love the environment here and the drinks are good, just know that if you come after 10 you’ll be standing in line for hours.
Place with a party vibe, good music and drinks. Food took some time but it was delicious.
