Great local ice cream. The Oregon strawberry is particularly good, but the other flavors I tried were solid too. Not your cheapest treat, but I'd say it's both reasonable and well worth it
A double mini, split between saffron lemon and sticky mango rice vegan ice cream flavors. ???? I could not believe these were vegan. They were so creamy. Also, super excited to see they had gluten-free waffle cones. The gluten-free waffle cone was perfectly crunchy and sturdy.
Such a unique spot! We have Salt & Straw in Seattle so I didn't want to go there on my visit to Portland. Other ice cream spots around here closed relatively early (read: earlier), so Fifty Licks was up next. After I saw their flavors on the website, I was intrigued. I do wish they had sampling because there were so many different flavors I wanted to try. Overall, it's a lighter take on ice cream with less sugar (or less sweetness).I wanted to try the flavors I don't see as often but was afraid I might dislike them. So ultimately I opted for 1 safety and 3 new flavors. My safety flavor was my bread and butter, Strawberry Cheesecake, my go-to. I enjoyed it a bunch as the cheesecake was able to shine. The sweetness of the ice cream was mild as to not overwhelm my entire cup and that allowed the flavor of the cheesecake to pop. I would definitely order this again, likely a pint.Next came the French Toast. It was a mild vanilla flavor with bits of toast. Nothing too surprising, but once again the sweetness was held back. The toast bits were fluffy but ultimately not a huge factor as they lacked any further substance. The maple cinnamon flavor wasn't relevant at all. Likely wouldn't order this again, but it's worth trying. Then there was the Blondie vs Brownie. The base ice cream was simply vanilla with yet again, a laid back flavor. Alongside that, there were extremely tiny bits of brownies and blondies. Blondies are essentially the vanilla equivalent of a brownie - a bit less common so wanted to just point that out. Honestly, it was like eating vanilla ice cream with tiny bits of cake integrated but those cake pieces were way too minuscule to be relevant. Did not care for this flavor altogether, wouldn't really recommend it.Lastly, the Thai Rice was interesting! It was super light and reminded me of rice cake. This was probably my favorite flavor as it took such a simple flavor and elevated it to greater heights. Slightly nutty and not at all what I expected. It's not like eating rice and the flavor actually makes somewhat sense. Highly recommend this flavor.
So I booked this company to cater at my wedding. There was a bit of an issue that I was a little bit forgotten my wedding planner called them immediately. After a short conversation they realized what the problem was and they rectified it immediately. Not only did the owner of the company hop in a truck and drive it down to my event he stated that he would take care of everything. He and his wife were such a joy to have and added so much to the wedding reception. I would use this company again and would recommend anyone that wants an ice cream truck at their event to use this company. Friendly people and GREAT ice cream who could ask for more?
Great service and a variety of flavors!
It's fine, it's ice cream. Texture felt like it had been refrozen/had some ice crystals going on and generally muted flavor. (We got pints cornbread honey butter and lavender caramel that we can't get rid of.)
Wow!!! Amazing Vegan flavors, true to test, more than excellent service. We took the effort to get out here, and boy oh boy, we are so glad to have driven out here. They had amazing unusual flavors that did not disappoint, especially Golden Milk which had cardamon, ginger and turmeric. Thank you for making our trip to Portland, OR wonderful. THANKFUL!!!!

wow how did I not seer this place when I was here two years ago fixing up my new house? (oh right Covid). well this is the best ice cream I have ever had. good job Portland for never letting me down when it comes to small businesses.
A must try! We were referred by Dustin (he led our biking tour when in Portland). We had to stop by and to try it. Probably one of the best ice creams I’ve had to date, my favorite being the mango sticky rice!We really liked how the ice cream is creamy and has different chunks of food depending on the type of ice cream. The only thing is that they only had a bench outside the establishment, i assume this is due to Covid. So being first timers it was awkward just to be hanging out since we didn’t another place to hang out at.
