Such good bubble tea! I tried the pistachio bubble tea and it did not disappoint. Such a good flavor and not too sweet!!
Good quick service! I usually get a drink and banh mi to-go through doordash. Their menu online is not as extensive as the one in store (would love the blueberry milk tea option added online pleasssseee). Lots of the basic bubble tea flavor & topping options. Their boba is usually well cooked. The straws are really stiff and tend to split easily at the top if drinking w boba.update: blueberry milk tea option added online!!! Thank you!!The drinks are lactose free and don’t have a syrupy/powdery taste. The banh mi is appropriately crunchy and even though i add a lot of modifiers, they always make it perfectly. It only takes 10-15 minutes after placing an order for it to be ready for pick up. The girls who work the counter are so sweet and cute.
very cute little boba shop. one size, and almost every flavour has been delicious!! staff are always nice, milk tea can be hot as well as cold. they also guessed my starsign the other day!!I have been going here forever and they are a staple of the SE Hawthorne area.

Best boba in Portland! Paired with fresh, delicious bánh mì- a truly unbeatable combo. Fat Straw knows what they're doing and they do it well.
The stores layout is impractical for basically all purposes and the drinks take a long time to get out. And the bubble tea is very average.
I accidentally dropped two bobas while holding my dog outside and they took really care of me. I really appreciate the kindness their employees have here as well as the owners.
The nicest people work here. On the phone they're pleasant, in person they're pleasant and you can tell that they really like their jobs. Actually, they will tell you that they like their jobs. And their original milk tea with the boba is so delicious! And all milk tea is not created equally, that's for sure. I think what's my favorite thing about theirs is that it's lighter yet just right with the sweetness and clear taste of the tea. Overall perfect triangle and their boba is always spot on.

I got an avocado smoothie and it was hardly blended, and ended up being 80% crunchy ice. There were also several hard and inedible pieces of the avocado (skin?) which shows a lack of quality control. Pretty unpleasant experience for 6 dollars.
