Both the drip coffee and the coldbrew tasted “sour”. My wife describes it as a fermented flavor. Would not go back
Great coffee and kind baristas. Nice place for a conversation with some fun art too.***Note: no longer has WiFi unfortunately so a great place to work offline if that’s what you need.
Initially visited while on a trip to visit my brother - right down the street from their house. To this day I love EXTRACTO and live in Portland now - you can also find this coffee at Maplewood Coffee & Tea where they serve it.
We have gone to extracto over a dozen times over the past year. It has excellent ambiance with a very tasteful playlist of music that usually is jazz or downtempo music or shoe gaze. They decorate their lattes and matcha which is a treat. Also their matcha is ceremonial grade which I appreciate as the flavor is excellent. They always have local art for sale with an interesting narrative behind it. The servers and cashiers are highly professional and enjoyable to be around.
A friend told us to go here during our Portland trip and we’re glad we did. Excellent almond milk lattes! Smooth and the espresso was spot on. The blueberry muffin was surprisingly unique and delicious.
Good coffee. My oat milk latte has been smooth and well-made each time.
I’ve been coming here for years, the coffee’s good, they have an interesting demographic, and they know my order when I walk in. But currently, without any public Wifi, and in an AT&T black hole, (as is the whole of 30th and Killingsworth) don’t plan on any doom-scrolling on your phone, or quasi-work on a laptop over a coffee…
Cute place to sit awhile and chat. Yummy brews too
Great coffee but not the friendliest service I've had in town. Was a Saturday so maybe they were just busy but I'd go elsewhere first before returning. The coffee was great however.
Fast, friendly and delicious. Would recommend!
