I had high hopes for this place, but it ended up being very disappointing - food was bland and really didn't really have any flavor. our waiter was awful (couldn't answer any basic questions and messed up our order), and on top of that it was very expensive for what it offers.
This is an amazing place to eat it is of course 100% animal-friendly and we're talking down to the honey ? ?!!!! " Best cheesecake I have ever had in my life ironically no cheese in it at all." Lol???
I cannot say enough good things about Epif! The food is phenomenal, the service is fantastic, and I love their little heated outdoor domes! Perfect all the way around.
Ate here last Thursday. The food was delicious! My husband tried both empanadas and loved them and the green sauce. We also ate the stuffed peppers, tofu and veggies with cheese sauce, quiche and cauliflower soup. All were yummy and I loved that there were plenty of gf options. We took a slice of the chocolate cheesecake home and it was divine! Definitely going back. Atmosphere was wonderful as well. Such a cute place on a quiet street.
Their cocktails are so good! They have a well curated menu so everything is guaranteed to be good. You must order the fried empanadas!
Epif is a charming vegan/vegetarian restaurant with a delicious menu and fantastic staff. We’re very lucky to live in a city that offers all kinds of food but I have yet to try a more delicious vegan menu. And the empanada was one of the best I’ve ever had. But this place is a specialty restaurant, on 28th ave, with limited space and staff. It is important to practice patience because it is well worth the wait. The clean, flavorful, fresh ingredients will leave you feeling happy and full. Not just full of food, but also with peace and contentment. With a staff very invested in offering you a wonderful dining experience.
incredible dinner! not your typical value vegan restaurant that we are so used to in portland. epif is a bit more elevated! the food and bevs were incredible. we ordered a second round of dessert, too! a great place to bring the vegan non believers ;)
Everything was delicious. Cream cheese and tempeh empanada was my favorite. Polenta was great. Loved the quiche and salad. Cute outside seating.
My fiancé and I were visiting from chicago and were extremely excited to try this place, and it did not disappoint. My fiancé isn’t vegan and she was blown away by the food. It’s hard to even begin with how good this place is. From the service to the food every part of our experience was phenomenal. Could not recommend this place more for vegans and non-vegans alike!
