Pretty good Ethiopian food. We got a family combo with 2 meat dishes and 5 veggies. We also started with the Sambusa, which was delicious. They had a green chili sauce that tasted amazing. The service was a bit slow and their drink selection was limited though
Like their veggie platter. Shiro is really good and so is enjira bread. Tima tima fit fit is also really good.
Ethiopian restaurant hospitality, when practiced by a family business, is hella sweet. The menu offers all the standards, plus a few items that are new to a lifelong consumer of injera-based meals. PDXers are fortunate to be able to eat here!
Very very very good Ethiopian food. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options and they will prepare gluten-free injera for you by request. I love this place and have eaten everything on the menu -- I've been eating here for like 8 years now. The staff is super friendly as well. Love the gomen, shiro, kitfo, and tibs.
Simply the best Ethiopian in Portland, comparable to my favorite place in D.c. the vegetarian combo is so savory and delicious, you won't miss the meat. Top notch, slooow cooked food. Worth the wait
I am a huge fan of Ethiopian food and Enat Kitchen is my absolute favorite in Portland. I often get the veggie combo and a half-order chicken key wot and I’m continually delighted by the incredible flavor and quality of each dish. Their ingredients are fresh, the injera is always gluten free (teff only) and portions are very generous (definitely enough to share with leftovers for a few days). Yitbarek and family are incredibly gracious and kind in taking orders and welcoming me for picking up takeout, although before the pandemic, their service and ambience was my favorite amongst other Ethiopian restaurants in the area. This place is a treasure, a thriving business (it’s best to order 45 min before you need the food) and overall incredible! Definitely check them out!
Amazing food, and amazing service. The man helping us tonight was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ve come here multiple times and it never disappoints!
It's delicious. The guy working the front desk was really really nice. I feel bad because I forgot his name. I guess I'll have to go back and figure out his name. And I guess I'll have to eat some more of their food while I'm there.
Right when you walk in the delicious aroma over takes you, which is only second to the amazing food it comes off of. Amazing staff, a must eat.
This will be the easiest and best decision you'll make this week - stop reading this review, get in your car and go see the nice people at Enat.If you've never had Ethiopian food, you're in for a treat. The smells, the flavors, the fun, and the famous Horn of Africa hospitality will move this to the top of your "what should we have for dinner tonight?" list. And this place in particular is a fine choice whether it's your first time or your 100th time eating this amazing cuisine. The food is off-the-charts good, the service is excellent and the pricing is a great value.Date night, casual dinner with friends, or a raucous night with picky kids, this restaurant is a hit.
