Within the last week, I enjoyed Eleni's catering and then brought out-of-town guests for an in-restaurent meal. The dishes are fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. The catering experience was outstanding. Moses at the restaurant worked with us to select a variety of dishes and the quantity of food for the expected number of guests. We thought the cost was quite reasonable. After having their catered food, I took friends from out-of-town for a meal last night. We made a dinner of dishes from the starters and appetizers, supplemented by spanakopita, which is off-menu but made at our request. My favorites were the feta-filled filo (I have a bit of a sweet tooth) and the lahano salad. All the dishes were simply delicious.

We love Greek food and always seek it out when traveling. Eleniâs is perhaps the best Greek food we have ever tasted. Everything about the evening was exceptional.
The food and service was wonderful! Both casual and elegant. Loved the saganaki, dolmas and calamari. Only minor negative was lack of fans and it was a hot evening, but it was very pleasant and they kept the water flowing!
We had wonderful servers! Food is always delicious. This is a very special place and we will be coming here for our special dinners. Thank you so much!
Dinner was amazing. Has the braised lamb and the meat fell off the bone. The desert was really creamy and delicious.
My friends and I went there at 5pm for an early dinner before going to a show. After we were seated, the staff told us to let the server know if we had any time constraints. I thought this was a nice touch and something I don't see in many restaurants. We mentioned to the service about our time constraint and she did a great job confirming that our orders would be out in time; she also checked on us to remind us of the time towards the end of our meal. I really appreciated her attention to our time constraints! The food was also plentiful (large dishes) and delicious!
It is my favorite restaurant in Portland. The place is just all around excellent.
