Just plain delicious!I went with the staple which was served with a side of fries and a salad. I also ordered the yucca a la huancaina, which I’d never had before. Smothered in a sort of cheese sauce, it was a great start to my meal. I recommend you try that and the purple drink they serve (I called it a Chica Morada ?)

Amazing authentic Food! Super friendly owners and great, Clean atmosphere! Go here! Always go here!

The rebirth of an amazing Peruvian experience. Totally hidden gem and amazing service by the owner. Come visit and support as they come back to hustle and make amazing Peruvian delicacies

Delicious, home-style Peruvian food in a comfortable setting!Having picked up an order to go last year, my wife and I both got the lomo saltado, our adult son got the tacu tacu con bistec, and our teenaged son with autism got the crispy chicken tenders with rice. All of us loved our food and the staff were exceedingly friendly and attentive, though there was only one other table in use, a Hispanic or Latino family. My wife chose this place to celebrate her birthday (again) since she LOVES Peruvian food, on the day before Thanksgiving (11/24). Before I had a chance to mention her birthday, in case they do anything special, they brought out some free warmed-up dessert cookie sandwiches with a kind of caramel filling in honor of Thanksgiving! We'll absolutely be going back.

Everything is delicious over there. I've followed dice they open in Gresham many years ago. The flavor is aurhentic

No words can describe how grateful I felt when El Inka re-opened last year! One of the best restaurants in Portland, by far. As a vegetarian, I was hesitant to try this restaurant for the first time many years ago, but there vegetarian options are stellar: our favorites being the tacu tacu (the best I had even including the ones I've tried in Peru) and the saltado vegetariano. Perhaps though, it's the sauces that steal the show and the owners who take such great care in their service and their cuisine.

Great food, nice conversation and great prices!

Authentic and tastes like home made. Great service. Everything we have had is made well and very traditionally prepared.

We stopped in here on a whim because the reviews were good. Don't let the exterior fool you, this food is delicious. We had empanadas to start, and moved on to some rice and chicken dishes, everything was fantastic. The portions were great and everything was seasoned wonderfully. Can't say enough good things about this place. An easy 5 stars.

We ordered the roasted chicken, grillled beef hearts, and the fish ceviche. The foods were really delicious and both of us finished everything. The owner was so nice as well! She explained about the ingredients as this is our first time trying Peruvian foods. The house sauces were awesome as well. Definitely will be back!
