Good service, friendly staff. Their wood oven cooked dough is great but I didn't love their house vegan cashew cheese. Cesar salad and bread sticks were delicious but for the oily bread crumbles. Beer was fresh and properly poured. Looking forward to trying other pizza flavors.Update: So, we went back as suggested by the reply below. Tried the Margherita with the commercial cheese. There was some confusion as they first told us it was FYH cheese and it turned out to not be. The marguerita wasn't a traditional recipe, not enough cheese, too much tomato sauce and bit too acid, too. Overall it is unfortunate as they have a great wood woven sour dough, but the toppings are not the best. Maybe they could check secret society and Rudy's vegan options and get inspired to improve.

I really hate to do this (i have literally never left a review for anything- ever) I but I think this may be the worst gluten free pizza i've eaten, even worse than frozen pizza that is 1/3 the cost. the polenta crust is not good, it was overcooked on the outside but the middle was still mushy, the texture is crunchy yet dense yet mushy and thick/gritty, the red sauce on top was hardly tastable and barely painted on, and the cashew sauce as replacement for cheese (I am gluten and dairy free, but not vegan) was essentially undetectable on the palette, essentially no flavor. The only flavor present was the pepperoni which tasted like pepperoni, and they sprinkled approximately 7 black olive slices on the entire pizza. I am so sorry but chef really needs to work on the recipe if you're going to charge 27$ for a 12" GF/DF pizza. I threw 3/4 of it away because was truly inedible. sorry!

Pizza was ok.Unfortunately, a series of very strange events happened service wise. I haven't given a bad review in years and was almost reluctant to do so now. But figured it had to be said.1. We told by the person attending the door that we had a party of 3, she saw only 2 of us were there. She asked "for 2?" And I corrected her "for 3" and she led us to our table. She sat us for a total of 3 minutes anyway (6:02-6:05pm checked message logs), then kicked us out and told us we had to wait for our entire party to be here to be seated. Which I totally get. I just wish she didn't attempt to seat us to begin with for 3 minutes. I wish she was more up front. There are currently 3 vacant tables and when we left there were 2 vacant tables. See picture. To be clear: my issue was her not being upfront and forthcoming about the policy. Not the fact she kicked us out even though there were vacant tables. I could have totally excused this, but paired with ?, it just didn't feel great.2. We were given the wrong bill which we almost paid for. It felt like a super close miss. We put the card down and everything. It was for $77, when we only bought 3 single slices and 2 cocktails totalling to around $30. Ordinarily it would be fine and I'd dismiss it; however, that, paired with the initial issue of not being upfront about seating, I was somewhat bummed. The server seemed nonplussed and not apologetic about the mix up. She did not say sorry. So it felt a little deceitful as a consequence. I'm sure it wasn't, but that was how it came across.Especially since it was fairly obvious it wasn't our bill since we didn't order multiple whole pies -- there were only 3 paper plates on our table and we left within 30 mins. Not upset, just a little disappointed because it was not a great way to wind down after a long day. It wasn't that busy either, which would have been a totally reasonable excuse. There were many empty tables. The Marvelous Mrs Maize ⭐⭐- tasted good for a cheesey pizza but the ingredients didnt shine through. Couldn't taste the corn sauce.Yellow submarine ⭐⭐⭐⭐- recommended by the server, which I really loved

Excellent pizza and drinks!

The service at the bar from Ramona was awesome. The sausage specialty pizza was very good although we had a miscommunication about the order. Their crust, sauce, and cheese are very good.

Delicious pizza and mouthwatering breadsticks. Plus, they have fantastic lasagna on Sundays. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. So fortunate to have this local gem in the Montavilla neighborhood!

Sunday night lasagna and meatballs here was a great find. I come back for it every 2 or 3 months.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PIZZA. I could eat this crust all day every day. They open late; I think 4 or 5PM. I find myself waiting outside for them to open. The meatballs shouldn’t be forgotten, super flavorful. This place is GREAT!!!

East Glisan Pizza Lounge is a hip pizza joint that serves delicious drinks, super yummy pizza and much more! I LOVE their Detroit Pizza, and the Capicola pizza is equally as good. The lasagna is served on Sundays only - wow, just wow. They have this hot oil on the table that is so good, that they have to lock it up because patrons kept stealing it!! It makes my mouth water simply writing this review. Do yourself a favor and come here! They are only open for dinner service, so plan accordingly.

So much yum, the pizza is just the beginning. Great service always and cool vibe. One of my favorite places in PDX.
